Agreed tried to find reasons for him to annoy me, but couldn't....very good player. Hawks are going to blow up that team, let's hope he gets traded out west.

I've NEVER had a player who I didn't really like in the draft become my favorite player ...

Until NOW.

:D

He's matured. Plays smarter. Plays harder. Got more skilled with his handle and his three. And THIS GAME???

That was THE Takeover by Wall. He closed them out by being by FAR the best and fittest player on the court. Wow.

He was The Man among lesser men and boys out there. I like how he can hit the short pull up or the layup. No dunks tonight but PLENTY all series long. Wall was GREAT this series.

He got one in the first half, muscled Schroeder into the post and then turned on him and threw it down

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

This what I mean when I say the team holds him back...
People say we never win when wall score big...but it's because Beal sulks and we can't find a rhythm when he is out...

Wall can take over games...he just have to stop looking for his team mates every play and take advantage of every opportunity to score... win or lose the game falls on him regardless...u can't blame the bench in the playoffseason especially since you have gotten this far...
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!

So why do the Wizards and Celtics have to play on 36 hours of rest while the Raptors-Cavs series starts on Monday?

I always get ahead of myself thinking ...

I've already imagined a Warriors/Wizards FINALS. This season.

Wall and Beal can match Curry and Thompson and maybe even outplay them.

Ladies (was gonna make a lame joke here but don't want to spoil this feeling) and Gentlemen: The Wizards backcourt just made a quantum leap. WHICH TEAM HAS A BETTER BACKCOURT NOW?

This is good.

It really doesn't matter if Wall and Beal match Curry and Thompson. If you take Durant out of the picture and just use their 2015 championship team, Draymond Green is a MVP caliber player himself. We need our Draymond Green. But now they also have Kevin Durant? Forget about it, the rest of the league doesn't stand a chance.

Talk about adding the 2nd best player in the world to the best team ever.

Yep. Schroder is a baller.

I'm ambivalent on how I feel about him and John working out over the summer (his request). John's better now by a good bit, but that kid is on the come up and in a hurry. I don't want him studying Wall too hard.

And CCJ, he's only 26yo!

If people can just stop nitpicking at the kid and remain patient, we'll be in for a great ride with Wall leading this Wizards team. He still has room to get even better.

I always liked Schroder even when I first saw him come off the bench for Teague. He's got moxy, a real competitive kid and that will serve him well in the league.

One of my favorite parts about Wall's amazing performance, he was locked in almost from start to finish and didn't start popping off until late in the 4th quarter.

Not a big fan of his on-court demeanor at times but today he earned it.

With the exception of some of his turnovers, this might have been hands down his best performance I've ever seen.

Ridiculous game.

Perhaps, true.

And the good news?

Beal is THE MOST IMPROVED player on the team. :) He's way better this season than at any other time. And THAT is after him playing about the same statistically; and, him missing on AVERAGE 20 games a season before this season. He was only out about 5 games.

Wall can take over but Beal has a big ego. That big ego is why he has made BIG improvements.

Just got through saying the unmentionable. Wall is my favorite player.

Now I'm going to say EQUALLY AS SHOCKING is that Beal earned his freaking max deal and then some! The defense he played in game five was outstanding.

Tonight? Wall got 42 but Beal ALSO poured in a bunch of points, 31.

And they're YOUNG!!! :) They will get even better.

God, please if it be your will, let me stay alive at least through the next few Wizards seasons (OKAY, for ANOTHER 25 years???).

These guys are going to get to the mountaintop. I can FEEL IT.

Yep, Illimatic21. We typed it about the same time. Young, indeed! :D

Wall averaged an efficient 30/10/4 on 50+% shooting with 4 turnovers a game.

If that Wall shows up against Celtics I think its an easier series for us than Hawks.
