Packers take another kid that had another good week at the EWSG - DeAngelo Yancey. He's the type of kid they like on STs and as a 4th or 5th receiver with size. Seems like they always have a 4th or 5th receiver who fits that mold IMO.

Whoops. That was wrong. That was the BRONCOS that took him. The Packers WERE on the clock. My bad.

Runs a lot of vertical type routes at WVU. Averaged 22 yards per catch this year on 43 catches (24 average last year on 37 catches). Has ball security issues. Poor timing at the Combine isn't an accurate picture of his real speed IMO.

Should be very interesting pairing with Wentz's deep ball.

You guys might not believe me when I say this but weeks ago I assumed / envisioned who Shanahan would draft (based on what I seen from him in the past) and guys like Gibson, Kittle, Joe Williams, Ross, Corey Davis, McCaffrey, Roderick Johnson came to mind.

I look at the TE the Falcons drafted last year, and though not as gifted a player he compares favorably to Kittle and the recent signee in Paulsen. Hodges not being an inline blocker hurts his value in regard to what Shanahan wants. I truly believe that Hodges will end up having a better career than most of the other TEs drafted ahead of him.

Damn, Elijah Qualls still available. Really intriguing at this point but I don't know if he fits here.

I figure they should swing for the fences & take crazy Chad Kelly. These guys might not even make the team anyway.

Overall the Houston Texans are having a fantastic draft too. Even though I'm against drafting any of the QBs in the first this year, I still like what I'm seeing from them. The other Watkins that they drafted could quicky become a starter for them in a year or two from now.

Trent Taylor.

Not where I would've went obviously.

Small WR with 4.6 speed but is pretty darn quick in short quarters.

Damn, Cardinals just took T.J. Logan. That guy is gonna contribute. Forgot he's still available.

Brutal, I would've taken him over Joe Williams as well last round.

Trent Taylor. Top thing on that kid is I don't know if I EVER saw him drop a pass. He probably did but he has one of the top catch rates in the country if I'm not mistaken. However, he's a fumbler.

It's similar to the Kittle pick in that you BETTER be able to scheme him open because you're going to have to get creative in order to get him the ball. I want to see what they want to do with him first before I go all in hate on the kid. I do hate that they left a number of kids on the board at the WR spot who are better creaters on their own.

We'll see.

Disregard my previous post. Now I recall where I know him from. From watching Henderson. I thought Trent Taylor was an OT, now I do remember who he is. He's another Switzer type of WR.

Only Ryan Switzer had smaller arms at the combine than Taylor (at WR). 13 reps to Switzer's 11.

Smallest hands at the combine at WR.

7th slowest 40.

33 inch vertical (29th best)

9 foot, 9 inch broad (40th best)

4.01 shuttle (2nd best this year and 0.04 shy of tying for 12th best since 2006)

11.14 60-yard shuttle (T-2nd best with Switzer)

6.74 3-cone drill (T-6th best)
