Great series!

None of Gobert's fouls was undeserved. Favors did get screwed twice by my count.

I thought Gobert foul #2 was suspect. Agreed on Favors.

I desagree. The level of contact that was acceptable for Jordan going for offensive rebounds was not the same level of contact allowed to Gobert going for offensive rebounds.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

Best player in the series won, not really surprised by the result, Clippers have some serious weapons, but just need to sign a better wing, and in general need more length. Hayward dominated the series. I don't think Jazz would trade Paul for Hill. Paul's never won a second round series

Until you watch Deandre, the first board they went up for considering what they were calling on Gobert, DJ could have been called for 2 flagrants based on what they were calling on Gobert in GAME 7. He pushed Gobert 3 times on one rebound. Gobert would have been called for 3 fouls. Anyways, It's over now. We almost had 3 people foul out.

Also how you can say the 6th foul was deserving is insane. George Hill was deliberately fouling DJ.

Hill did foul DJ but it was after Gobert fouled him first. Didn't look that unusual. Are you insinuating that the game was fixed? If the NBA is going to go to such lengths, why not ensure the victory? Not that hard to "bail out" the Clippers more, say, by calling some of those bs 3 point fouls CP3 tried to draw, for example.

Congrats Jazz! I believed in you! Now on to the warriors i believe you can win over them too.. You play smart basketball that is fun to watch.
Fact is that momentum in games is a real thing, while not tangible itself, you can tangibly see the effect it has when teams are on runs and how it can dramatically effect the outcome of games when you can generate any momentum.

Lol I made a thread discussing exactly with we saw today in terms of cp3.....and it got merged in to here. Was called cp3 no longer matters, as in he can't lead a team anywhere significant. Several mods look terrible in it, so it got merged into here so it goes away lol!

It was saying he's not a dominant enough player to win you a playoff series against a true superstar/very good team as the best player on his team. He won't get a chance this year unfortunately, unless they beat gsw if they take out Utah. If he beats golden State I'd be happy to eat my words, though he/they shouldn't reasonably be expected to. Never won a playoff series as an underdog or against an equal team.

How about when he closed out San Antonio in the playoffs? Or do the Spurs not matter enough as well?

The Clippers have an incredible amount of offensive firepower. For a while it looked like they would come back. If they weren't mentally weak and were better coached they could win a title. If they played with urgency like they did in Q4 the series would have been theirs, easily.

1 point in the 4th quarter. But please, haters, tell me more about how Blake is the problem and it's never CP3's fault.

Ok I'll tell you, how many points, assists and rebounds did Blake have the last 4 games?

Paul played like Blake was going to suit up pacing himself. This has been the story for years. By the 4th he realized we didn't have a real chance and said screw it. Blake and Paul both incredibly passive but Paul mailed it in for a game 7.

Chris had about as much of an impact on today's game as Blake did sitting on the bench. But at least Blake's not asking for $210 million this summer.

Blake would be getting vilified for the kind of performance that Chris just had in a home Game 7. But since Chris did it, the narrative is "poor CP3, he never has any help, he's soooo unlucky!"
