Because how would that benefit the Warriors? Cmon man! Lol

After the 2017 draft, more than half of them will switch back to being Lakers fans. A lot of options in that city.

There's a greater chance philly gets their pick than the lakers do though

Admittedly I didn't watch him much because my eyes were glued to His Hairness.

Joe Ingles single coverage. JJ usually craps in the second round but this was new level bad. DJ was our second leading scorer nothing but love for DJ but that shouldn't happen. Jamal was terrible and so was JJ.

How sad, I do love that 1-0 lead though, what a commanding position

Maybe the Clippers future plan can include getting stars who won't be injured halfway through their series every other year.

Hill and especially JJ were great but how much of that is the system over the talent? Before the series, would someone really have ranked those guys over, say, Redick and Crawford?

Hill over Redick? Yes. Johnson over Crawford? Yes. Yea, still doesn't change much, I mean the "system" for Joe Johnson was iso. Jamal Crawford can do that too he just sucks more at it and can't beat up on little people like Joe can.

Impressed by how calmly the Jazz were executing down the stretch in a Game 7.

Yeah, that was the big failure in the Doc era with the Clips. He just didn't get enough overall help at the wing positions. Clips lacked size, athleticism and overall talent here. Redick was a good get, but he's a bit undersized and not that athletic. He got exposed against bigger wings in this series, on both ends.

Redick tries, but he plays smaller on the court than guys like George Hill and Eric Bledsoe, and even Pop who loved George Hill had to trade him when they had him basically playing SG alongside Tony Pakrer. Paul is small, Blake is length challenged, you really can't survive with a small SG also and a weak and frail backup SG.

Im not going to lie that is pretty crazy. Also that shows that yes there maybe some dominant teams, but damn there is plenty of enough parity where all but 2 of the teams in one conference were some kind of legit contenders at least once in the last 15 years. Wonder if the NFL or MLB has that high of a percentage of teams in their conferences to get to at least the conference finals.

Chris Paul is everything I love and hate about a basketball player. He's competitive, has a great BB IQ, and can dominate a game. He's also whiny, an ill tempered little bitch, and does crap like the 3 point shot at the end of the half and has the gall to be upset the refs didn't fall for his crap. So **** him, I'm glad to see him out.

That being said, on the long shot that he joins the Jazz this summer, hey, can't wait to see him play again.

I would say that even without Blake the Clippers had the mor impressive roster on paper, but the Jazz have a much better system. Good for them and their fans (even the incredibly whiny and arrogant ones posting her). I hope Hayward stays and they can keep the team competitive.

Great analogy !!

How are the clippers better roster wise than the jazz without Griffin in the line up. Besides cp3 and Jordan, who is better at their respective positions? Also, with DJ it is close. Gobert is a really solid player

Well if you take cp3 and jordan out obviously the jazz have the better roster. My thinking is that cp3 is worth whatever their top two guards/swings are (say Hayward and Hill) and dj and gobert are basically a push. Then it is pretty close, which is why this series was so close. in the end, the Clippers ran out of gas because they didn't have enough depth over the course of a series. That's where Griffin was really missed since at the very least he could free up 30+ mpg of rest for some backup.

Jazz is a wonderful team. Perhaps the 2nd best team that plays team basketball just behind the Spurs. The chemistry of this team is great. Nice to watch a team of unselfish players.

Agree, none of this "I'm option 1...this is option 2, I'm the closer" bull crap. Just play ball as a team, move the ball to whoever is open and live with the result. I'm so over that brand of ball, that was 90's and early 2000's ball, this is 2017 and it's a new style NBA. 5 will always beat 1, don't get me wrong I like guys who can be dynamic and score at will but keep and trust your teammates.

This is why guys like Melo and CP are a dying breed, they don't trust other enough to just make plays.

Congrats Jazz fans. Well deserved. The Jazz play basketball the right way. I'll be grateful long term if it forces the Clippers to rebuild, although I get the feeling Ballmer likes torturing us by defending Doc's plan.

Doc should be fired, but obviously won't be. Maybe 3 more 1st round exits at which point CP3 will be like 36 and Blake will be 32, peak wasted.
