Mr. E's Halftime Thoughts:

GO ROCKETS!!!! Oh, my God that was an incredible first half by this team! Everything was going right...except for RealGM's servers.

Now, I'm not going to suggest that perhaps RealGM hired a bunch of BSPN castoffs to run their servers right as the Rockets are playing their best basketball of the season...but I will look into it.

The key player not named Harden has been the Spaceman. He has been knocking down his threes from beyond the arc and that has forced even a defensive stalwart like San Antoine to stretch out their defenses to a point where it is not effective. The scary thing for that team is that Houston could be up by more.

BUT! (and we know that these Rockets like their big Buts) These are the Spurs. Yeah, Pop may look discombobulated now, but discount them at your own risk. Things are clearly in Houston's favor right now...BUT THEY MUST KEEP THIS UP!!!

I realize that I'm doing a lot of all-caps and ellipses; but that is not just for dramatic effect. This game is far from being over...EVEN UP 30 AT THE HALF (more all-caps and ellipses)...and they are going against the master of adjustment.

Oh crap...Charles Barkley is complimenting the Rockets...

What is lost in the three-point barrage is the good play by My Countryman, Clint; and the MAN, Nene. This should not be a surprise to anyone who watches the Rockets. They are an inside-outside, high-paced team. Tonight is a beautiful example of what they can do.

But there is a lot of basketball left. Keep pushing these guys. It is not often that you see a guy like Pop look discombobulated; but right now the slim stylings of Pringles are looking way more smooth than that long-toothed chief.

Put this one away, Houston!
