do we want to go back into that early list?

like the Jokic as an example..I hope Skal stops working on his game, for our sake.
Masai has been fine drafting. Bruno is the only questionable pick. Everyone else has been a good rotational player and Powell has some real potential. I trust Masais drafting ability. Skal hasn't been that great at all. I don't know what your are talking about.
Jokic nobody saw coming. Not even the Nuggets which is why he was benched for so long.
I dont believe Jokic was drafted to rebound, he mean he was drafted! the talent was there.
About Skal, I dont know where you were, in April , late season and the potential (confirming that potential that made so many of us wanting him to be picked 9th!!!) that Skal showed.
Things like
the steal of the draft ,
Skal Labissiere Can Be Special. were being said.
Well maybe Skal has some developing to do and he has looked better than a 28th pick. Siakam has developed well even tho Skal has the higher celling they're about even right now. Actually Siakam has done better so far but I'd chalk that up to Skal being stuck on the Kings.
Looking back to the Poetl pick it made sense because we didn't have a backup C available. So Masai used the #9 pick to draft for need over ceiling. I don't mind that Poetl was a good pick looks very promising as a high level role player eventually. I maintain Poetl as a good pick.
So I guess you can argue that we should have taken Skal over Siakam but then at point we'd have too many young Centers on a playoff team . Also there's a reason so many teams passed on Skal the bust potential is very strong. It's too early to judge that right now. But we'll see.
Basically what I'm saying is that Masai hasn't done anything yet to lose my trust in his drafting. There some other things I don't like about Masai such as keeping Casey or signing an injured Caroll. But as of now I'm fine with the drafting.
