Once you see Thomas drag the palm the ball at tje top of the key a few times, it's hard not to notice how blatant it is. I mean other guys do it all the time. His are egregious.

Boston just so much mentally tougher than Washington. Wiz clearly have more talent, may not be enough though.

Seems like the entire Celtic team flops. And the refs really let every little bump against Thomas be a foul, usually the little guys get no love in the playoffs.

I'm not sure why teams don't rough him up more. Just beat on him a bit. You're going to get a call against you for little bumps so may as well smack him around.

That's what I would do if I was the player and that's what I would tell my team if I was the coach smack that little bug around be physical.

It seems like the Wiz are playing not to lose instead of playing to win. They are full of fear, while Boston is fearless.

In any case, I find it delightful/absurd/comical that Sacramento let Isaiah walk.

That was an all-time great performance right there. Like Bird, Havlicek, Pierce like from Isaiah.

The Wiz are thin like us. They say depth matters less in the playoffs, and maybe so, but it's still useful.

It seems to me like Washington is just playing lackadaisical, like a regular season game while Boston plays like their life depends on it. Boston got every loose ball it seemed like.

It was. It was also very painful to watch. He's a great scorer, but I just don't like how he holds himself up.

Wiz bench is solid; Jennings, Oubre, Bogdonavich, Smith. They just got outworked and outexecuted down the stretch. Wall did get tired though, but the others didn't step up.

He's simply not a skilled enough scorer to be a 1 option. This is just truth. Hell even Stockton wasn't, so it's not that big of a knock. But both of those guys need a true batman to lead them in those moments. And Stockton less so, btw.
Are you aware of what Paul's numbers were in the postseason?
I hate to agree with Bill Simmons, but he made the point about CP3 in that whenever his team needs a 40 point night he just never provides it. You need to close out a series and step on someone's neck? CP3 is never gonna be that guy. He is always too smart for his own good and rather than just taking over he is always looking to pass.
Blessing and a curse.

Re: Around the NBA: Playoff Edition #2
Wiz got wrecked on BS calls. Ever since Smart whined about the Celtics not getting the calls they were used to they have been getting everything.
IT was amazing out there but he also got to the line on the lamest calls. It was D-Whistle-esque.

And the Suns traded him for Marcus Thornton and a first.

Bogdoavich has been great this postseason. And Jennings has had his moments.
