PG: 63-64 Oscar Robertson - $24
SG: 05-06 Michael Redd - $6
SF: 74-75 Rick Barry - $10
PF: 06-07 Carlos Boozer - $7
C: 94-95 David Robinson - $30

R: 75-76 Don Buse - $9
R: 11-12 Andre Iguodala - $13
R: 03-04 Kwame Brown - $1

Rotation:

PG: Oscar Robertson (38) / Don Buse (10)
SG: Rick Barry (18) / Michael Redd (20) / Don Buse (10)
SF: Andre Iguodala (26) / Rick Barry (22)
PF: Carlos Boozer (36) / Andre Iguodala (12)
C: David Robinson (42) / Kwame Brown (6)

Writeup:

Starting Iguodala this matchup to guard Bird. Robinson will guard KG. Having these two to matchup against BDE's 2 best players is huge. On the other end, Sprewell is BDE's best perimeter defender, and even he is woefully overmatched against either Robertson or Barry. Whoever Sprewell does end up guarding, the other will get to go up against either Lillard or Bird, a huge advantage in my favor. Robertson has two fantastic PNR partners in Robinson and Boozer and Barry can attack in ISOs and off the catch. Redd and Buse off the bench gives me a significant bench advantage as well.

Vote for me!

Desmond Mason - $1 - 2005 - 17 PPG, elite dunker
Kevin Garnett - $35 - 2004 - MVP (1), 24/14/5/2, 29.4 PER (1), 30 DRB% (1), 18.3 WS (1), 45% 16' <3Pt, All-NBA (1), All-D (1)
Larry Bird - $25 - 1986 - MVP (1), Finals MVP, All-NBA (1), 26/10/7, 25.6 PER (1), 15.8 WS (1), 42% 3PT,
Latrell Sprewell - $10 - 1994 - 21/5/5/2/1, 36% 3PT, 15.9 PER, 8 WS, All-NBA (1), All-D (2), MVP (11)
Damian Lillard - $3 - 2016 - 25/7/4, 38 3PT%, 22.2 PER, 9.2 WS, All-NBA (2), MVP (8)
Arvydas Sabonis - $24 - 1996 - 16/8, 38% 3PT, 24.7 PER, 8.4 WS, 24/10 in playoffs, All-Rookie (1)
Matean Cleaves - $1 - 2001 - All-American at MSU
Jeff Foster - $1 - 2004 - 6/7, 16.2 PER, 8.3 WS, led playoffs in 2P%, 14.8 ORB% (elite)

Total:$100/100

Damian Lillard (40) / Matean Cleaves (8)
Latrell Sprewell (43) / Desmond Mason (5)
Larry Bird (36) / Desmond Mason (12)
Kevin Garnett (42) / Larry Bird (6)
Arvydas Sabonis (36) / Jeff Foster (12)

Summary:
Spoiler:
My starting 5 is elite at all 5 positions. 2 MVPs, 4 All-NBA, and an all-Rookie in Sabonis. My bench...don't focus on that. But seriously, Mason scored 17 PPG. He is an elite slasher who will get good passes and have spacing with my line up as every starter is a good shooter. Foster was an elite rebounder who could play solid defense. Cleaves, well Cleaves is because I needed another guy who could bring the ball up court. He will initiate offense and nothing else.

Offensively, my shooting will test teams. Lillard and Bird are elite long range shooters. Sprewell is very solid and has to be respected. Garnett and Sabonis are both elite shooters for their positions. More than just shooters, everyone in my starting lineup can make plays. Everyone can pass exceptionally well and attack the hoop so it will be more difficult to help and close out. I will run a lot of pick and rolls with variety of screeners/ball handlers even multiple in possessions to find favorable match ups.

Defensively, Sprewell/Bird/KG are all elite and will be trusted to switch freely. Sabonis has solid positioning to make other big men work. With elite perimeter defenders, I plan to trap/double a lot to cover for Lillard and Sabonis against the elite centers. With KG/Bird/Sprewell, I think other teams will struggle to score.

Match Up
Don't have time to write something up unfortunately. My team will play same style as summarized above.

parsnips' rebounding is fantastic in the starting lineup. Iggy will do a great job on Bird, but Boozer can't guard Sabonis, so it balances out. parsnips D is great, but BdeRegt's offense is better.

Both teams are really good. I am going to go with the team with the distinct advantage on defense.

Michael Redd off the bench wins this for me, i have more questions about BdeRegts defense than I do parsnips offense

2 obviously great teams but Bd has 0 weaknesses (outside of Lillard's D), and a bit more star power to boot.

Cant believe noones mentioned this, the main difference I see here are benches/depth. Parsnips' is elite, Bde's is awful. That swings my vote in an otherwise close matchup.

Parsnips does win the bench battle by a decent margin, but Kwame is roughly as bad as Mateen Cleaves. Then you have Iggy + Buse (excellent bench players) versus Mason + Foster (solid bench players.) Just wasn't enough to tilt the match-up in parsnips favor for me; the Bird/KG/Sabonis combo would be unstoppable.

Idk, I really like Big O/Barry/Robinson. I think that would be just as deadly.

I feel like both teams top two guys are pretty much a wash in talent and skill, for me it comes to each teams third best player, and Barry is light years better than anyone else on BD's team.

Congrats parsnips!
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
