Bruno's body seems to be coming along fine!

Even if Jonas is an average passer then that would suffice, though that's the thing, he isn't. He's one of the worst passing big men in the league. Which freakin' sucks, because I know he's not ballhog like Rudy Gay. I know he can see the floor, he's exemplified it plenty of times here and there. It just doesn't seem like that part of the game has been encouraged or developed by our organization. The times he does pass it seems so raw and foreign to him.

And I don't know everything that goes behind the scenes with Jonas and our staff, so maybe they are trying to help him here, but everything I've heard, interviews, training camp videos, anecdotes, whenever Raptors training staff and Jonas Valanciunas are mentioned, all you hear is how they're improving him physically. Which needed to be done, he was getting pushed around his rookie year, but what of the other aspects of his game?

Obviously the definition of "star" is unclear but hey - Jonas is still alive and 23 years old right? :)
As for Bruno i'd say rotation player is where his ceiling at. And by saying this I hope to god I do not anger Brunoskull..

top 5 in league in blocks, grabbing boards, getting some dimes even, and getting his hands and deflecting a ton of balls...his D still needs work, his lower middle and upper body is still weak and needs time though hes gotten stronger, but hes a very active and engaged defender, he cares about D out there, and thats amazing to see in a 20 year old, with that wingspan his potential is great...his handles looks improved too, starting to attack the rim sometimes, shots a work in progress but has that touch

just super positives signs considering how little organized ball hes played

He's getting more and more polished with every game. I love the aggressive drives to the bucket. I'm pretty sure his handles are already better than Carroll's.

He knows how to pass to some level, but we see it so rarely because he's never put up into the position where he needs to pass the ball, most of the plays he gets are iso and everyone's just standing, waiting until he shoots the ball. He showed some good signs in national team and I think Casey could make a play once in a while where JV passes the ball to someone who's cutting in. Though, I loved how people were criticizing JV for his lack of passing and loving BB so much at the same time. I mean, BB is even worse at passing. I'm scared every time he gets the ball because he either will attempt to take a shot which he will most likely miss, or he will try to pass the ball to someone and most likely it will be a turnover or close to being one.
