Re: Tournament of Runner-Ups: Draft Thread
Kind of a tough call here, but I think I've got my guy.
My perimeter rotation is an extremely potent one, but it really needs a glue guy to make the whole thing tick. I select Aaron Mckie. 6th man of the year, and swiss army knife perimeter defender. Frankly, there just aren't many good perimeter D guys left in this game. Gotta grab one while the getting is good, and the feeling is it's probably not going to be good much longer.

Standout defender and rebounder with a mid-range shot, in his best season.

1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Re: Tournament of Runner-Ups: Draft Thread
Time for my makeup picks:
1st I'll take Kyrie Irving. Perfect secondary playmaker who can run PNR with Dwight and Bosh.

2nd I'll go with Anthony Mason. Good low FGA high utility guy.

Re: Tournament of Runner-Ups: Draft Thread
For a mere 7.0 FGA I will complete my nasty defensive frontcourt with:

Buck Williams
Then I'll get a former Finals MVP who was All-NBA Second Team in the selected season to run point for me.

Tony Parker
You again.
