Cleveland Shapiro's (17-13) @ Toronto Shapiro's (11-20)

Post#1 » by ldnk » Sun May 7, 2017 10:33 pm

Game 1 - Monday - 7:07 EST
RHP Trevor Bauer v. RHP Marcus Stroman

Game 2 - Tuesday - 7:07 EST
RHP Carlos Carrasco v. RHP Mike Bolsinger

Game 3 - Wednesday 7:07 EST
RHP Danny Salazar v. LHP Francisco Liriano

- Donaldson won't be activated during this series
- Tulowitzki might be back (and now we can actually say he's an upgrade on Goins who has started hitting like the AAA player he is).

Can't see us winning 2 out of 3 from the pitching match-ups. Hopefully we get some good pitching and some luck and we take 2 out of 3.

Go Jays Go! **** the tanking. I can't take the losing anymore after watching that Raptors series with the Cavs.

The return of EE. Would you boo him or cheer him?

Cheer him of course (not if he gets a hit or anything silly like that though)

W: Bauer is smoke and mirrors, our powerful AAA lineup will mash him up.

W: Pitching duel, Liriano goes legend

Will be attending the game and sitting in section 218 on the 1st base side. Will be cheering for Edwin but more importantly a Blue Jays win.

Ohlman hasn't had an MLB game yet. Hes 26 with 7 homers already through 85 plate appearances whereas a few seasons ago he hit 12 and 13 over 400+ PA's. Currently has a slashline of .246/.388/.594/.982.

Martin, salt, graterol, maile, ohlman who is our 6th catcher just in case we need him?

The 6th catcher is whoever finds the winning ticket number under their seat at tonight's game. Hope you like 110 mph foul tips to the head, grandma!

You can tell this Jays management has a conservative development philosophy because two of the best prospects in the entire organization can't get promoted out of Dunedin even though three catchers further up the line have been DFA'd or promoted.

The season from hell continues. At least it's not Martin's throwing shoulder.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
