I don't know if this will be magic or not, but it certainly can't hurt.

http://www.freep.com/story/sports/nba/pistons/2017/05/06/andre-drummond-burger/101372126/

“(I’ve) been playing with my right nostril for four years because I ended up (injuring my nose) some more after my second season,” Drummond said at an event in Fenton, where he unveiled his signature "Dre Burger" that has been added to the menu of the Michigan fast-food chain Halo Burger.

“This season was probably my toughest breathing year for me,” Drummond said. “It got progressively worse. My allergies were really bad and it was really hard for me to get that wind out there.”

His mother said his nose was broken again as part of the surgery, and she described a process that left Drummond with black and bruised eyes for several days.

She had to assist in feeding him, which was difficult since his nose was bandaged. Drummond he had to eat and breathe at the same time through his mouth.

Hey, that's not going to solve all of his laziness problems but it surely can't hurt. Only being able to breathe through one nostril is pretty significant.

I find it hard to believe this guy was an all nba player less than a year ago

Sounds legit to me.
If he can turn 13&13 to 16&16 I'd be happy,
But if extra oxygen to his brain helps his defensive awareness and helps him talk more on defense that would be awesome.

Reggie with 2 knees and Andre with 2 nostrils, watch out NBA
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

You aren't breathing through your nose when you're huffing and puffing for air. This won't have any effect on his play, I guarantee it.

So we got a guy that couldn't breathe through his nose. And another that is basically playing with one knee.

And we gave them the keys to the franchise along with the greenlight. Oh boi

Yeah they're getting quite creative with it. I'm impressed.

There are basketball IQ issues, will to win issues, immaturity issues, poor skill issues, poor work ethic issues, etc. Nose surgery won't help those things. This is a crucial summer for a dude I don't want to hear or seeing anything from unless it's him in a gym working on his craft, training his body, studying film, etc.

If this is what his play is like when his nose is out of joint, he'll be even more passive next year. Sheesh!

Sounds significant for fluff imo. I've dealt with allergies and asthma my whole life and it sounds helpful to me.

Yeah oxygen is kind of a big deal. Whether it's nose or mouth.

I'm not saying he's going to be mvp, but it will be easier to play and easier to think fast.

Whether he applies it in the form of winning basketball depends on his training and muscle memory and taking his life seriously.

But more oxygen is definitely a factor
