LeBron signed long-term this past off-season after a series of one year deals. LeBron did this to leverage Cleveland into having to spend the money before he would commit. I would say Russ should do something similar in OKC, but Presti would trade him before risking it so it wouldn't work for Russ. Then again, Presti might take the chance of keeping Russ over the guarantee of losing him in a trade. The real issue would be how can Presti transform the roster. I don't see it as realistic to build a contender around Russ with what OKC has currently on the books and in lack of assets. If Presti had all his future picks and wasn't so leveraged in contracts for role players and d-league players than I could see some options.

Hardest road.

So finally law of averages are catching up with Rockets with Nene's already overdue playing time for his age.

It's good that it never works on our favour but triggers right when we don't need it. He killed us in all games.

Meh.

Is Perkins even that plugged in anymore? Guy hasn't been with the organization for 2+ seasons now. Hasn't even been in the league all season. I know those guys were personally friendly with him while he was here but were they really that close? Maybe so, seems possible Perkins is just looking for attention though.

Bron also did it to maximize his earning potential, which is a moot point now that the cap's plateaued.

From everything I've read those guys were pretty close with Perk.

“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Yeah, but this came from cupcake, and he's already lied about them talking once.

All that junk talk from Houston top to bottom & all it amounted to was a few extra games & Harden folding like a tent.

One of the worst performance by a superstar I have ever seen in all sports combined. I really can't respect someone that doesn't even try something to get back in the game. Doesn't matter if he makes 10 bricks or 10 turnovers, just try something!

I'm glad Beverly lost because I hate him so much (like every thunder fan), but I respect him wayyyyyy more than Harden. That was pathetic. Glad Westbrook lost showing how angry he was to win for HIS team. Harden is just a diva queen.

I'm not usually one to call people out but watching RocketIntellect get hoist by his own petard is glorious.

Oh look another timely injury in favor of the Warriors.

The warriors are beatable, but luck goes their way so often it's daunting. If Russ wasn't so tired I would give anything to send him to San Antonio to give them a chance to win. Guess I have to cheer for Lebron now.

Oh and Zaza is a POS.

If you just read through these threads, it reads like the Warriors have rounded up Jewish people and begun a new holocaust. The disdain is quite shocking. It's just a basketball club that has put together a team that everyone would be proud of it were their own, but it just brings out the most passionate, childish hatred. It really is hilarious to read.

My God now they've really lost it. You look at the Warriors team and hate it more and more after every game, but then you log on to RealGM and realize their fans might be worse.

The Warriors really do have everything go their way. Jesus. Well, I guess it helps when you resort to whatever dirty tactics you can to win games.

Also Spurs should respond in kind. What if Manu's planning retirement- send him out if they're down 0-3 and see what damage he can do before he goes.

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
