Diop is really good on defense. On offense he just dunks and has a little 8-10 foot jumper. He's definitely a very good defensive prospect, but I don't know about top 10 pick though.
He's super athletic and very fluid running. His jump shot is improving and he can now step back to 16 feet. I'd take him before both Zach Collins and Dennis Smith Jr. He has a super high floor, great body. Needs a lot of work in the post, but he's a freak defensively. He's one-dimensional, but there are tons of elite one-dimensional players. He's comparible to Serge Ibaka for me, but he's more athletic and more fluid. If players like Clint Capella are starters, this guy will be better at the same role. He's athletically elite for a PF/C.
He kind of reminds me of like a poor man's Mutumbo...more athletic than Mutombo, but he's like Mutumbo physically, only he plays soft. He has a mid range jumper that Mutombo didn't have, but the difference is he plays soft.
He really has that crazy length and shot blocking potential (because of a feel to get the block) like Mutombo, but unlike Mutombo, he's plays soft. Still, the fact he has a decent mid range jumper, and is a decent free throw shooter is nice.
