Ah, the good ole TBD pitcher. I might have to skip Saturday's game altogether.

Also re: yesterday, it really sucks that Russ is on the DL because I never want to see Frankie pitch another game without him catching ever.

Idnk keep that winning streak going buddy!

3 out of 4 is doable. A sweep would be pretty satisfying!

Hopefully we get some of the regulars to come back this series.

Doesn't matter; he's a Jays draftee (we traded him for the international bonus slots that allowed us to minimize the penalty for signing Vlad II), so he'll win.

I fully expect Tim Locastro to come up one of these days and turn into an all-star as well.

When Ryan Schimpf signed with the Padres as a minor league FA, came up at 28 and hit like a star, it was clear that the universe wishes us nothing but pain.

Justin Smoak has officially mastered hitting. A bloop single on a bases loaded AB. Last year that would've been like, his worst nightmare.

Oh, and before Schad says it, Smoak is our offense.

Huh, Steve Pearce did something not-terrible. That's an improvement.

So I think we all owe Shapiro and Atkins an apology for thinking that keeping Smoak and Goins was a poor decision.

Why people associate "not chasing as many pitches out of the zone" with steroids, I'll never know.
