Wiz @ BOS Drunkards: Fireball Edition | Game 7

Post#1 » by AFM » Sat May 13, 2017 3:58 pm

This game could be described as a must win.

I am very hung over. Last night I got hyped like no other. John Big Balls Wall with the sub zero ice cold SSJ2 three ball in your face? Wow.

Wall will not go out like a punk. I have a feeling he might even reach a state even further beyond:

This? This is known as a point god who has ascended past a point god. Or, you can call this a super point god.

I was thinking the same thing, but definitely leaning that way... 50/50 must win game. I do think we'll need to score more points than them if we want to advance. Not sure how else to put it.

I'm always going to be bitter about the Wizards for sweeping my Raptors in 2015, but I am rooting for you guys on Monday and against the Cavs (assuming you make it that far, which I think you will). Wall has been one of my favourite players to watch since his rookie season and he is playing out of his mind this postseason. Good luck!

I think we could take game 8 at the VD but a game 9 in Fenway, forget it. What was Rivenbark's record there, like V(ertices)E(dges)+F(aces)=2 straight, back-to-back, in one day, coming off the dismembered list?

Post inspiring DBZ clips

Will Jason "Prince of Saiyans Hairline" Smith complete his redemptive arc and display his full power level in all its finality?

Jason, there is still time. Atone for your sinful contract and clanked jumpers. Repent by shutting down Horford and hit the game winner Monday.

Like I said about your post in the Game 5 thread pointing out that Wash had lost 7 straight elimination games at home.

Don’t mean a thing. Ancient history as far as I’m concerned. And I’m certain Wall and Co. feel the same way.

You’re the glass half-empty guy, right? :) IIRC, you didn’t think the Zards would beat the Hawks.

Don't know if it's been mentioned before: The loudest cheers during Game 6--other than after JWall's 3--was when they put on the Jumbortron with a few minutes left in the game this rah-rah by Phil Chenier talking about how we're "one family" no matter where we're from in the DMV and how it was time to get loud for the home team. Great moment.

Phil was in the crowd and they put the camera on him after the video--to even more loud cheers.

I'm still angry at that pseudo "management guru" Leonsis for giving Phil the boot from the broadcast booth.

This, again, is Wall's game-winning three.

Separately, I've been pondering human communication lately. We humans use language, body movement, gestures, and sounds (grunts, screams) etc to communicate. And while it's easy to communicate clearly with each using a common language, other forms of communication are subject to confusion, misinterpretation.

So let me help here, in the instance of the fans at the Verizon Center last night, communicating after Wall's three pointer. Play the clip, above, and listen closely to the yelling and screaming. Watch closely the hands in the air. This is what the eighteen thousand fans were trying to communicate -- if you'd be so kind go let me translate into English:

"F.U. you know-nothing, blovating, ignorant c_nt, Colin Cowherd. You are have as much value and worth as the south side of a north bound cow and your 15 minutes are well beyond up. Go back to the hole from which you emerged and die."

Thank you

I've figured out another way than just scoring more, but it will be difficult since our D isn't as good as our O. I think we just need to stop them from scoring, better D. If we hold them to 2pts, but they only hold us to 108, then we'all have won because of our D.
