Guess what event is the next day

If Cole shows up at NXT Takeover: Chicago I might actually poop in my pantaloons. THAT guy, debuting in front of THAT city?

I hope he has an actual debut or promo, not just an appearance in the crowd.

I'd really like one of those moments in the main event where the lights go out then the lights come back on, and Cole just destroys whoever was in the ring at the time (match obviously gets thrown out). Then he stands in the middle of the ring holding up the NXT title as the show goes off the air.

Black Mass is the best move in NXT/WWE today. Holy sh*t Aleister Black is great

Awesome music and entrance too.

NXT really kills it with the entrance themes. When I heard McIntyre was getting one with bagpipes I assumed it would suck, but they proved me wrong there. Nakamura and Roode already have GOAT themes, and Black's is amazing as well.

I just hope they don't ruin him like they did with Wyatt on the main roster. He seems like he could be the Undertaker successor that Wyatt should have been before they screwed literally everything up with him. And Black is a hell of a lot better than Wyatt in the ring too.

Rumors state that WWE higher-ups are very high on Aleister Black and his stay in NXT may not last very long.

Meh. The main roster is so flooded with talent at the moment.

Keep him in NXT for a while, let him be the face of it like Bálor/Nakamura.

I hope the WWE doesn't try to make Black into the new Undertaker-ish thing. I don't get that at all. I think Black nails the anti-hero/twenner gimmick perfectly and we haven't really had a great one since Stone Cold. Punk was pretty close, though.

Maybe I'm weird but Black doesn't do much for me at all.

So last night Bullet Club turned on Adam Cole signaling his departure from ROH. I would not be surprised if Cole appears at NXT:Chicago next week.

I posted a while back I think they should put Dylan Miley in a tag team for now until he's ready for a singles run. I recommended Roderick Strong, but here's an interesting exchange on Twitter between Lars Sullivan (Dylan Miley) and Oney Lorcan.

I'd love these two as a tag team. I can see these guys being the team to eventually beat AOP.

Ciampa was injured at a live event last night, matched was stopped and he was rushed to the back immediately. Apparently it was his knee. How terrible.

Triple H addressed it on a conference call today. Apparently it was not as serious as it initially looked. Trips said it was an ankle sprain and x-rays revealed no damage. He says Ciampa will still need to be cleared tomorrow, but as of now he thinks he'll be good to go tomorrow.

Regal was apparently at All Japan scouting. Also Kento Miyahara just lost the Triple Crown.

If WWE got Miyahara i would be hyped to be honest. Him and Nakajima are the two best young wrestlers outside of New Japan (In Japan at least).

I mean he probably has a better shot in New Japan of being a big deal but i actually like his chances in WWE, he's 6'1 and 225 so not all that small and is damn good in the ring.

Could just be that his matches aren't long enough. he had a damn good match with Almas at the last Takeover. Since then, all his matches have been too short

Well, they're establishing him as a badass right now, so he's just squashing fools and murdering them with Black Mass. It seems like they're just kind of spinning the wheels with him until they can put him in a proper feud. This is one reason I wouldn't mind Takeovers moving up to three hours right now. NXT is so stacked with talent that guys like Kassius Ohno, Aleister Black, Drew McIntyre, and Andrade Almas can't even make it onto a Takeover card. If the talent level ever dips again, they can drop Takeovers back to two hours, but right now I don't think any one of us would complain about two more matches.

I wouldn't complain but if they moved it to 3 hours you know they aren't gonna move it back to 2. Plus them being off the card allows them to shoot a week of NXT before the event

Spoiler:
Apparently WWE signed Gunner from TNA to a NXT contract. I don't know much about him other than he's jacked. Vince will love him.
