Anyone else at this point wishing we had kept Thomas instead?

Nope. Thomas wouldn't help us much cuz he's a terrible blocker

He also had terrible coaching but at least he showed up. Feeling this holdout is going to be a while.

Good. Then when he shows up Robinson should have a decent hold on the lt spot and force Albert to either be 3rd string tackle, rt, or guard.
Fwiw coaching wasn't the problem with Thomas. Round peg in a square hole. Never works. Thomas was always more of a pass catcher/seam stretcher then say a well-rounded guy. Thomas was a bad blocker in Denver as well.

A lot more on Albert and what seems like he's trying to be cut.

“No,” Coughlin said. “We haven’t talked to him. We’ve tried but he has not responded, nor has his agent.”
Two weeks later, the Jaguars still have not had any communication with Albert. The 32-year-old Albert was traded from Miami to the Jaguars in March for a 2018 seventh-round pick. He has yet to report for voluntary team activities, which isn’t uncommon, but has maintained a stance of ignoring his new employer. That is uncommon.

I am just hoping Cam Robinson comes in and locks up the LT spot. That would alleviate a lot of problems moving forward, but that is a lot to ask from a rookie.

Its not much to ask when he's been going vs sec edge guys in a semi-prostyle offense.

I'd prefer to have them both playing. We need the depth.
