Spurs putting it on the Warriors right now. They didn't let the Warriors get very many easy shots in the first half, and they're doing a good job taking advantage of the Warriors' rebounding weakness on the offensive glass.

The whistlers sure helped the Ws...3 straight bad/no calls helped make up ground late.
Those guys aren't invincible. Spurs had that game, and likely won would have had Leonard not went down.

I hate the Spurs, but I was and am pulling for them there. GS won because of the Kawhi injury. The Warriors have become very unlikeable, especially after KD joined them. The Spurs I have hated over the years (Rodman, Bowen, Horry) are gone. Sure I still despise them to an extent, but I have really no reason to dislike their players. As much as Ginobili played a part in them beating us, I don't feel like he really played dirty....sure he flopped, and the Spurs seemed to get preferential treatment from refs or league, particularly with the suspension and Donaghy game, so I will never feel sorry for them, but they should have taken that game.

As much as dislike the Spurs, Id prefer them win the title over GS. I hate this Warrior team.

Dislike Green. Dislike Durant this year. Curry has been unlikable this year too. I haven't been particurlarly interested in this years playoffs to be honest. I do like both Wizards/Celtics to an extent so I'll be pulling for them against the Cavs, but ultimately when it's the Cavs/Warriors I'll be rooting for the Cavs this year.

Yesterday was a 10-year anniversary of the Horry hip check. Karma is a bitch.

Pop not happy. He goes off about Zaza here basically saying it was intentional. He probably knows well having coached Bowen and all.

Wow. That was an statement.

Popovic IMO is the greatest coach, it is not even close. He knows the league and their players really well, I think he is right about Zaza.

I doubt Pop told Bowen or Horry to go out and goon. He doesn't seem like that type of guy at all. The players were shitheads.

Of course he didn't. But you can bet he told him to keep doing what they are doing. He wasn't oblivious, obviously. There is an article from 2006 on the GB where the Spurs and Bowen were warned and they were changing the rules and he even is quoted there saying he was going to tell him to keep doing what he was doing.

I was really surprised that Boston got so far in the playoffs. I guess that's what great coaching, great defense with interchangable 6-8 guys and your floor general playing out of his mind will get you. But it will only get you so far.

No point watching the remainder of either series unless Kawhi comes back for game 4. Let's just get on to the main event.
