Thanks. The analytics love Isaac. Is there's a list longer than 5? Do you have their model for the last 3 years?

I don't. It appears to be an insider article. Just randomly saw it on Twitter. I'd imagine the full list will be provided on one of /r/sixers, /r/nba, or /r/nba_draft

Better hope the Lakers stick with Ball too. I was lurking on their board earlier and theres a growing call for Jackson over Ball

Thats fine with me. I like Ball too. But I'm not worried about the Lakers. I'd expect there would be a section of posters who wouldn't want Ball, because he's a polarizing player. But the Lakers will take Ball. He's way too popular in LA and fits Walton's Offense too well.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

De'aaron Fox shot over 47% from 3 over his last 10 games. I don't believe it to be a result of low sample size because I heard during a game that he began working with a coach on that shot specifically concentrating upon shooting while physically exhausted. That is why Kentucky players do so well in the NBA because they understand how to develop players and teach them the right habits that carry over into developing while professionals.

Anyone else get the impression that Justin Patton is going to sneak up on everyone and be a surprise breakout stud from this draft?

Jesus, this guy is going to be a force in the pick and roll. There are holes in his game (the glass and protecting the rim), but man, what an intriguing project.

They definitely share some similarities. Patton might be the best finisher in this draft.

I'm interested in seeing what the Sixers are gonna do with their 2nd rounders. I'd guess some will either be traded or draft and stashed. The Sixers can't come out of this draft with 5 players available now. They don't have the roster spots.

On other sites I keep seeing "anything but Tatum". I can't understand this logic. His numbers are exactly what you look for in a small forward. He has the right height and length. Is a two way player. Gets to the line better than most top prospects. I'm just failing to understand the hate.

I'm loving Sindarious Thornwell's approach.

“I bring more toughness (than the freshman players),” he said. “Physically, I already can compete, and I’m mature enough to understand my role and not get as upset about maybe not playing as much right away. Plus, I’m able to guard. Young guys don’t understand, that’s what’s going to get you minutes.

“That’s what I’m selling myself on, is giving team’s stars a break on defense so they can compete more on offense, but I also know I can score. You’ve got 18-year-old freshman heading into this draft that have never scored 18 points in a game. There are guys who averaged 10 points a game being talked about in the lottery, whereas I’ve proven myself to be a good scorer.”

This dude gets it. If his jumper translates, I see no reason why he can't be a plus starter.

Who are the best shooting point guards after Ball Fultz Fox Smith? Basically who could be there from pick 20-30?

Derrick White can be the next Brandon Roy. He can shoot, score, distribute, finish, defend.

Since we probably won't draft a PG if we stay at 3 we need to trade back into the late first round and get this guy or somebody like him.

Many don't like his fit with the Sixers. I wouldn't hate him as much as some people. But I view him as a guy who doesn't really have the upside to be great at any one skill. I think he'll be solid or Goldman no a bunch of areas. In the top 3 you want elite traits or upside.

Yeah, like there are plenty of Gs that can hit shots and distribute.

- Nigel Williams-Goss
- Jawun Evans
- Frank Mason
- Bryant Crawford
- Monte Morris
- Derrick Walton
- J.J. Frazier

Some will go late first, some will be available all throughout the 2nd round. Some will be undrafted. No matter what, we should be able to get a guy. I just have a very strong belief that Derrick White can be thee guy. I think he can be the next senior prospect that winds up being one of the best players in a draft.

I honestly think Duke has ALOT to do with it.

1.Duke is hated by many period.

2.There is a stigma going around that Duke players don't translate to "stars" in the NBA.

If he's around in the 2nd or late 1st, I'm going after him. Take all the young "upside" guys you want in the lottery, but Ill take a few seasoned, competitive, complete players and try to develop them into role players.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Thornwell blossom into a Norman Powell like player in the NBA and significantly out perform his draft slot a few years down the road.

Thornwell is a boss. Even if his scoring doesn't translate, there's no doubt in my mind that he can hang around the league as a Garrett Temple-esque player. Just a rough, physical defender that can hit shots when called upon.
