If Boston can't beat CLE tonight, I don't think they are going to win a game the rest of the series. G1 should be their best chance, because of how long CLE has been off since sweeping Toronto.

LBJ is getting anything he wants against Boston.

If Lebron has a spread floor going 1 on 1, all series, hes probably going to shoot 70% for the series. And Cleveland win each game by 25.

It's clear we would have been only comp for Cavs in the East.

I doubt we'd be getting our ass kicked by LBJ.

We always own LBJ....in a game 1 of a playoff series.

celtics like the raptors last year are a good team but in no way are good enough to represent a conference in the finals. It just shows you how very similar in talent these teams are after miami haha i meant to say cleveland.

Other than Lebron and everyone else the Cavs have, Thompson basically is the Celtics biggest nightmare.

Remember how Lopez was killing them on the boards, but the biggest difference is Thompson is also mobile enough to guard the perimeter and protect the basket.

Horford is so bad.

Cavs defense is suffocating. I think the warriors are in trouble. May have to put some money on Cleveland depending on what the line is for the finals.

The Celtics aren't even a Markelle Fultz and Gordon Hayward away from beating the Cavs.

Their only chance is by hitting every single three pointer or having Kelly Olynyk slide under Lebron on a jumper, Pachulia style.

Boston is this yearsPortland: they think they are close to the top of the conference but once they give new deals, they will fall back.

The thing that is odd about the Celtics situation is it doesnt feel like they are building a team long term or even short term.

Danny Ainge is greedy. I think he is just going to sit on his assets.

The problem is, I only like a 2 year window for this current group if he doesnt make any moves. This season and next. After which, they will have to decide to pay a 30 year old 5'9 guy potentially 200 million dollars. Bradley may also get a pretty penny.

I just cant see Ainge keeping all those assets. I just cant. He will go from being first in the East this year, to be like the Lakers will all youth and win 25 games in 3 years.

Aint has to consolidate something to make a real run.

I am pleased that I argued that LeBron hasn’t fallen off the other week. He is murdering the East in these playoffs.

lebron is not a better player today then he was 4 years ago, but reading twitter you would think so. The fact is his team is stacked and his competition is weaker. The cavs and warriors were able to make moves at an opportune time that resulted in their super teams. Had there been no cap increase these teams would look different today.

he's playing on a vastly superior team for his offensive skills while playing teams that are fairly average or downright bad.

As much as fans complain about Golden State and Cleveland, the league would be absolutely dead without both of them.

The thing is the Cavs and Warriors and probably going to continue to make the finals for the foreseeable future.

The East is also garbage. He's not the same player he was at his peak. That doesn't mean that he's still isn't the best player in the game.

As long as LBJ is on the Cavs, no one is beating them in the East. The team that had the best chance was the Bulls when Rose was healthy and that was like 15% chance. The East has been so awful for the last 10 years.
