It would be time to switch my support to the Toronto Rock and Toronto FC,
if i wanted to watch the basketball equivalent of a baseball pitching machine with the same defensive ability
I would go to a Toronto Blue Jays batting practice.
Toronto already has a 3 point shooter who can't play defense his name is Brady Heslip

I don't like that Leaf only worked out with one other guy. Not a good sign.

I am kind of intrigued by Rawle Alkins. Not really a positional need, but man do I like his game and his size/strength. I think Masai had a good look at him at Treviso last year and his defense looks good and his frame reminds me of D-Wade. I just like the first step and finishing ability for 19 year old.

Showed well in the draft combine so I think he will move up higher than the mocks have him. Kind of think he will move up in the same way Patrick McCaw did.

Alkins is easily a top 15-20 player in this draft.

The organization said wed go BPA. But it seems we've only looked at PFs so far.

Looks like we did invite Alkins for a workout this week. Did he do an interview?

After 22 years of pain, I'd pull the plug n finally give up on this team.

That he's afraid? I'm not too bothered. Not my favourite prospect, but I can see what he'll be good at at the next level and in college he seemed really bright on offense that I don't think he'd get exposed in a scrimmage. He's an outlet player that can attack a close out and pass the ball around well. Maybe the calibre of Mareese Speights.

Then I'd rather trade for Maresse Speights than spend a pick on TJ Leaf.

It seems like we've scouted Leaf quite a bit from what Tolzman said in his presser today.

I like that he has a sense of what he is really good at and how it can compliment "our guys". He has a great motor and small forward skills. Very surprised with his agility he is not yeta good one on one defender. Makes me think he isn't really physically strong at age 19.

Nowhere else to put this, so I'll leave it here...start at 2:25, after ranting about something else, John Oliver describes pineapple on pizza about as accurately as possible :)
