He's eligible for the super max. Don't see any reason why Ted should f around with this. Extend him this offseason and be done with it, it won't hit the cap until 3 years from now anyway so who cares.

Props to Wall. He certainly had a big season for a guy who came into camp out of shape due to his surgeries.

Was the voting done before the playoffs?

I think he should get extended now. If we wait till next year, you could run the risk of him not making All-NBA and no longer being eligible for the super-max.

Wait ? You only can get the super max in the year you make all NBA team? Pardon my ignorance on the rules for someone else's money :)

Yes there is a reason why guys like Klay and Butler will need to get it again next year to become eligible.

I am big wall fan but he needs to make to 2nd to all-nba or make it to the finals before you can consider himself better than arenas. arenas did make all nba 2nd team in 2007.
Congrats to wall.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

Dream conversation.

Teddy brings Wall into his office and says, "son, you're the King of DC. I'd like you to be a Wizard for life. Congratulations my boy, I'm gonna give you the super max."

John replies, "I love this town, I want to get paid... but above all I want to win. I'll sign that deal on one condition....Ernie goes."

What are the chances he gets all NBA defensive second team honours too? Led the league in total steals

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

No chance. He regressed defensively this year.
