I'd absolutely love to. I love these types of things. The only problem is last time we didn't even finish the semis, because people who lost stopped voting. Maybe we could open up voting to the whole forum just so we'd have consistent numbers? TBH I don't remember exactly what the rules were last time.

But consider this my confirmation that I'm taking part in the project if it gets off the ground.

I'd actually kind of like to see a non FG restricted one. Obviously the danger would be voters being easily seduced by high ppg, but I think it'd be interesting to see how people fit players into different roles with no real limits to speak of.

I'd participate either way, although I do really like the FGA limit. I think people are much, much better at envisioning and judging teams that fit into real-world constraints, as opposed to teams of a bunch of goliaths where it's difficult to even imagine what it would look like.

The thing about FGA restrictions is you have to choose role players as well and the stars are more important.

If you have Shaq, it's not as big an advantage if the other guy has Robinson and Dirk. It is a big advantage if however the other guy chooses LeBron and then has to go Dikembe instead in his frontline.

Just have a voting panel. MisterHibachi ran one in 13/14 with a set of judges and it was completed through and through.
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

I'd prefer a USG% restriction instead of simple FGA.

Sure, same concept.

Edit: Wouldn't work actually. USG is only available from the mid 70s onwards. I want to be able to draft Wilt.

What a team I had in that one. Nash/Dirk/Rice... oh my.

Nah. Last time my attendance faded after the first two rounds  . I'm not good at staying committed to these things.
