Woj was giving the example of Porzingis' workout with us saying that Lakers are known for having very very tough workouts where they push the player right beyond their physical limits to see how they respond. Porzingis says he almost threw up but kept going. These kids better come ready.

That was under old leadership though. Magic/Rob/Luke know what to do.

Ball vs Fox 1-1. Best out of 3. Winner gets to become a Laker until MrWaffles trades then along with Houston Pick, Dlo, and Ingram for Jordan Hill.

Fixed this for you.

Long as we get Jordan Hill, whew.

Not a chance, force Ball right and it's game over. Fox would blow right by Ball in both directions.

Correct. It's not coming around this season either. You're all going to wind up mightily disappointed if you keep this up.

If Ball is so good, how did Fox lay 39-points on Ball and UCLA in that NCAA tournament Ass whippin? Ball scored like...10-points? I'd pass on Ball. Take Fox Magic.

if Kobe is so good, why some random scrubs lay so-many points on his less than meh of 20 years career ?

really ? watch all full UCLA game and you will understand why Lonzo Ball is so special. In the first 5 minutes you will understand and by the time the game is over you will in awe and ask why you ever question about his ability.

Well you have to have a Worthy and Kareem type.

Lonzo ball with a KD or a AD would dominate with one other star and some decent role players.

Maybe Ingram should work on his speed and transistion as he may benefit the most from a push it up the floor
guy like Ball. Practice dunks and getting up the court quickly.

You'd have to be 40 plus years old or closer to your late 40's to 50's or more to really
understand why you take a chance on a guy like Ball.

The Showtime Lakers was the greatest basketball you could ever watch on TV.

Even my Mom would watch and people who would not normally watch the Lakers would watch.

The people number of fans from that time got to see the greatest bball show of my lifetime.

Even if he is Jkidd or Nash type you are getting a special player that really makes it worth watching basketball
and what coaches and fans want to see is the un-selfish player who makes those around him look better.

If you watched the game Ball did not play his best but his help defense was non-existent.
When he got picked off the Coaches did not make the adjustments to get a Rim protector.

However Fox played his lights off and I have to give him that. He had a team with McD All Americans who showed up
and Ball had one other and the guy who showed up nice and too late was Hamilton.

I like Fox but his game is not so unique and there are many who play well. I would not be dissapointed if we got him
but I want to see the guy who fits the bill get the chance and that guy is Ball.

Smart Free Agents who see Ball after the first season will understand how much there numbers and looks will go
up with a guy like Ball passing to them.

He is not Magic. He is not Kidd. He is not Nash. And if you think that any combination of players around him is going to make him as good as any of those players, you're sorely mistaken and are setting yourself up for disappointment.

I'm also having a hearty laugh at the idea of Ingram changing anything that he should be working specifically if/because we draft Ball.

So what did you mean when you said he would DESTROY Fox? If he's so great, and Fox is so inferior, why not in the Elite Eight?

Right he is not any of them. He is more like Kidd than any I see. Kidd had the qualities of Magic but was a defensive type. Neither Kidd not Nash or Magic was that fast. But Ball I bet will be a better Defender than Nash and Magic. He has a better motor than Nash. In college Nash was good but he wasn't nearly that good as Ball after only one year.

Only Time will tell the skill set Ball brings. Ball is a decent defender and can get better. I see this 19 year with alot of good things
that will happened if surrounded by the right players. All Point Guards need a Big. Ingram will benefit. DLo will be open. Randle will get looks. But most of all the Lakers need a Super Star Big who sees the potential to get alot of easy buckets.

While many points are shooting the ball or moving around the perimeter to get the ball back to Shoot. This guy
is creating the opportunities for shooters and easy Dunks.
