You guys think Luka Doncic will be there at 28?? No chance right?

6ft 7in PG, Real madrid phenom, only 18.

Ball vs Fox 1-1. Best out of 3. Winner gets to become a Laker.

Ugh I hope we don't evaluate players based on their 1-1 skills.

Me too basketball is a great team game.

I'm sure Fox can get hoops but how will he stop a bigger Ball without fouling him.
It would be nice to watch but not a great factor in assessing Point guards.
It might be better to assess at other positions but not the point.

The point is the Floor General who much have great instincts, play D, breakdown the defense,
No look pass, Floaters, mid-range, three, transition, be the first one down the court on D, Lead
the team and instill confidence amoung many other dynamics.

I take a chance on Ball even though his shot is not great, his father is going to be fun, Blackball his father from the first 20 rows.

A Jkidd/Magic type does not come around that often so that is why I would be willing to take a chance
on an un-selfish player which is rare to find these days.

Jason Kidd and Magic were much more athletic than Lonzo Ball.Think closer to pre injury Shaun Livingston and Michael Carter Williams. Although Lonzo seems to be a much better shooter than either

De'aaron Fox sounds like the kind of guard the team needs.

He's got the Wall, Westbrook, and Rondo DNA, which too me bodes really well. If he can put on some weight during the process (to show he can), he's my pick at two, followed by Johnson/Tatum, then Ball.

his passing isn't nearly as good as Lonzo's though, not even close. He's good defensively, that aside his scoring is probably on par with Lonzo (which isn't all that good to begin with).

I guess this is just a matter of preference, but I just want to see a guard that competes on defense and can fly in the open court (not that Ball can't do that last part too). Especially the defense part. The fact that he is hyperactive on defense appeals to me.

Also, if Fultz is still on the board, then the team should pick him over anyone.

Reading that Fox is a so so playmaker isn't encouraging for me. Sounds like he's Johny Flynn with above average defence.

goes without saying Fultz should be #1 on our big board. If Boston pulls a quick one then Fultz > anyone else

if Kobe is so good, why some random scrubs lay so-many points on his less than meh of 20 years career ?

really ? watch all full UCLA game and you will understand why Lonzo Ball is so special. In the first 5 minutes you will understand and by the time the game is over you will in awe and ask why you ever question about his ability.

Oh god, its gotten to the point where people are comparing Lonzo to Kobe? gtfo

Who the **** are you telling me to GTFO ?

and that's not the point. the point is no matter bow good you are, your direct opponent will torch you sometime, even a top 10 players.

agreed. if we are trying to be cute, just draft DSJ. he's far better prospect than fox

this.

Fox is a low efficiency, ball dominant guard, i.e. the last thing we need next to Russell.

Granted this isn't flattering for Fultz, but remember Fultz played on a scrub team and for a rubbish coach where he had to do everything.

For Fox, he played for Kentucky.

There is exactly 1 advantage Fox has over either Fultz and Ball, defense.

And it's not like Fox is a much better defender either...

Fultz: 3.1 BLK%, 2.5 STL%, 110.8 DRtg, 0.5 DWS, 1.4 DBPM, Team Defense Rating 107.4 AdjD
Fox: 0.7 BLK%, 2.7 STL%, 96.8 DRtg, 2.1 DWS, 3.7 DBPM, Team Defense Rating 91.4 AdjD
Ball: 2.1 BLK%, 2.8 STL%, 100.7 DRtg, 2.0 DWS, 3.5 DBPM, Team Defense Rating 100.4 AdjD
