It's like 80's ball. All 5 defenders foul line or below.

FWIW, one of the reasons I want to bring Fultz along slowly (read: 20-25 minutes a game, a lot of which is with IT and Al) is so that he can focus on his defense. If we can instill good fundamentals and foster his effort, he will become a positive on this end.

Steph shot 40% from 3 as a freshman on 8 attempts per game. Fultz shot 41% from 3 on 5 attempts. Safe to say he's the next Steph Curry.

Fultz --> Steph
Jaylen --> Barnes/Iggy
Horford --> Dray
Zizic --> Bogut

We just need a Klay.

I finally figured out who Fultz reminds me of. Im not arguing he's going to have the same impact [obviously he won't], as I doubt he has the same work ethic and competitive desire, but his game is awfully similar to Kobe Bryant.

The moves. The body control. The footwork. The vision. The ability to draw contact at a decent buy not elite rate. Very reminiscent of Kobe.

Good assessment:

He's not nearly the athlete Kobe was in his younger days. Older Kobe maybe. Merge Fultz and Jaylen together... young Kobe lol.

With the draft a month away, if we had to make the pick today, Fultz or Jackson, who would it be?My feeling is Ainge would we looking closely at the following:

1. Which players is better at making and creating shots . Basically who is more likely to become The secondary scorer that this team really needs.

The easy answer is Fultz.

2. Who has a more NBA ready body? During the season, Jackson was listed at 6'8, 205. Fultz was listed at 6'4, 195. We all have heard the latest reports that Fultz may be at 6'6 now. And the most recent pictures show he has bulked up. Fultz might be closer to 205-210 now. Maybe even a little more. They both have wingspans of about 6'9.

The answer here is Fultz has a more NBA ready body and is still only 18 years old.

We know there is much more that the 2 above things than GMs and scouts look at. But from what I've heard in the past year or two, the above 2 things are important for Danny.

Also Ainge should have more inside info about Fultz due to Thomas and Bradley knowing Fultz.

Things can change but I'm confident Ainge will select Fultz.

I've seen some say Yabusele would be a lotto pick this year as well. Some even have him higher than Zizic

The cool thing about Fultz is that he doesn't really compare to anyone. His skill set is pretty unique. Harden is probably the closest comp, although Harden was a little bigger, but not as nifty (as a college player). He's different than all the big guard prospects to come out lately. What stands out with him is skill and feel - he's a prodigy in those areas. Great natural passer, perfect shooting form, throws great bounce passes, knows how to find open space and driving lanes, seems to know when to do what by instinct. Then physically he's no slouch, with huge hands, long arms, good strength and plenty of ups. He's unique. I can't remember a 19 year-old who had that skill set.

It's weird that people forget Zizic is coming. He looks like he could solve a lot of issues, with rebounding and with frontcourt toughness in general.

They are forgetting about this guy too.

Based on those highlight reels, it's really too bad we couldn't somehow have these two guys for tonights game, two bigs that aren't pussies. I know highlight reels can be misleading and make anyone look like a superstar, but there at least seems to be evidence that these two could be really helpful for us. I would love it if someone would do a draft express style video breakdown of both of their seasons playing overseas, it would be helpful to see consistently what their flaws are as well as their strengths.

Definitely not young Kobe, who could jump through the roof. More mid-career Kobe, when he could pass real well and shoot the three decently.

It's really just the way he moves. Very underrated footwork. He gets to his spot every time, and due to his size/length, even the contested shots are clean looks.
