Liked what I saw from Collins in NCAA tourney. Great feet and hands. Timing on defense. Battles. Can pick n pop, stretch floor & pass. Skilled young 7 footer. ZaCo, Frank, Cody, Miles, Marv give Cliff versatile front court.

A CZ-ZC lineup just sounds cool.

I like him a lot, would be hilarious to watch people freak out when we take another big white guy but Collins has game and is only 19. His per-32 stats in his only year at Gonzaga are silly. There really aren't many glaring weaknesses in that skill-set, something very rare for a young big.

I would be fine with taking Collins. He can block shots and has actual post moves, something we lack.

Really feels like he's the "11th guy" now (damn you, Miles Bridges). I don't love the fit so hopefully someone else takes him, but if the top ten goes, in some order: Fultz, Ball, Tatum, Josh Jackson, Fox, Monk, LM, DSJ, French Frank, and Isaac; I think you've gotta take Collins at 11.

That, or shoot for the moon with Giles. I like Justin Jackson and Kennard as potential lottery talents, but I think there are 11.5 (Giles) talents clearly ahead of them in the draft.

I agree BOB, though I'm not worried about fit. He is 19 and played 17 minutes a game last season, he's not ready to be in the rotation regardless absent injury.

Draft him and evaluate and see where he fits, then adjust the roster / rotation accordingly when he's ready to play.

Still think Id prefer Mitchell, but I'm fine with either one if all the projected top 10 guys are gone.

I shouldn't have used the word "fit," obviously we could use a young rim protector on the team. The term I should've used is "big, white-guy fatigue." Admittedly this flies in the face of my usual preference of taking the best talent regardless, which is why I'm hoping someone else takes him. But if not, I think he should be 11.

So he is basically a myles turner type?

If so, might be my new #1

The comments are like an advance look at the draft night reaction.

Yes, I can't imagine that he will last past both of Sacramento's picks.
