-The total FGA for the players you have selected in the years you have chosen cannot exceed 90.

-When you pick a player, you may choose to specify the year or not. If you do specify the year, you will be able to change it at a later stage, up until round 1 of the Playoffs starts.

-The window that has been tentatively decided upon is 8 hours. Therefore, after someone drafts, the next in line will have 8 hours to make his pick. If this is too short for you, please speak up.

-Please select player seasons with 50 or more games played. For the 1999 season, this comes to 30. For the 2012 season, this comes to 40.

-I decided that you are free to choose ABA players or pre-shot clock players if you want to, but do this at your own risk, as judges may have trouble evaluating these players and your team results may suffer as a result in the Playoffs.

-This is what I can think of, if I'm forgetting anything let me know.

I've got mixed feelings about this pick. I've been pretty critical of LeBron's attitude in recent years and what that did to his ceiling. If I follow that reasoning through to its, I shouldn't pick him at #1 above all other options.

But standing here at this moment, it just doesn't seem rational to pick anyone else.

An underrated, scrappy defender, a tenacious rebounder, a guy who reads the floor perhaps better than anyone who's ever played, a guy who can dominate the game without ever taking a shot.

A tough SOB, ferocious competitor, the type of guy to break his hand in a bar fight on Saturday night and make it for Sunday tipoff.
