That's interesting, but it is so far down the line that we have no idea what the value holds. Heck, depending on the structure, it could be 2023 before we get the pick or it could be a pick in the late 20s. There just isn't any certainty here and it's tough for me to send two late 1sts out for what could end up being one late first. I will have to decline for now.

Would you be willing to eat singler's contract to do our 2020 first (lotto protected), Singler, Stauskas for 28?

Edit: could include afflalo so that you aren't giving up a roster spot and it saves 1.5 mill of that salary.

Ill take him. Probably unnecessarily rigid but do you have space for Wayne Ellington's 6.27M non-guarantee?

BKN first taking Ellington, immediately followed by MIA taking Lopez in a separate deal, would clear enough MIA space to absorb Lopez without waiting until "July 1." You can then waive Ellington anytime by 7/6.

Sorry guys for the wait. Just got off work.

With the 19th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies select Justin Patton out of Creighton.

Do you have cap space to absorb the incoming contract, or are you looking to send back salary?

In any case, depending upon what you're thinking / looking for, I've got Jon Leuer and Boban Marjanovic that seem to fit the bill. Please let me know, thanks!

His contract is fully unguaranteed though so you can waive him (as long as it's before the 7/6 as there his contract becomes fully guaranteed). Not sure what you're trying to do, but most likely that is about as good as cap space (unless you're trying to absorb someone elses salary before July 1). Just my 2 cents.

OKC would like to move Jerami grant. We view him as a pf and don't have room in the rotation now that we've acquired Leaf. Really rounded out well as a stretch 4 last year and shot 35% from 3 with a block per game in only 20 mpg.

How much space do you need to open up? Would Stauskas for ellington do it? You'd get a wing shooter added to the deal basically for free.

You'd be immediately clearing approximately $15m and the rest after waiving Ellington who comes off your cap fiscal 2017-18 (July 1).

Considering you can't sign FA's until fiscal 2017-18 I can't see how it negatively impacts you but it's your call.

Bucks would have interest in Grant. What are you looking for in return? I have a couple young wings in Anderson or Vaughn who we could send your way. Anderson might need a little value added from your end.

I think that pick is already given up. It's a bit too convoluted, but it looks like it is possibly Utah's or Philly's depending on where it lands. That means that I most likely see it for quite some time. We are willing to eat salary, but with real incentive. We don't want Stauskas back and I'm almost certain he doesn't want to come back.

Stauskas and grant for Anderson? Nik isn't worth a lot, but he had a nice season from 3 and could be a good depth guy.

What incentive are you asking for to take on Kent Bazemore?

I can take Lopez in a straight dump after executing the Stauskas for Ellington deal. Should I pm sportscrazy?

I got it back from Philly. Utah has our 2018 lotto protected through 2020, if not conveyed then Utah gets two 2nds. At latest you'd be getting 2021, but that's assuming a team with Russ misses the playoffs 3 straight years.
