Ill take him. Probably unnecessarily rigid but do you have space for Wayne Ellington's 6.27M non-guarantee?

BKN first taking Ellington, immediately followed by MIA taking Lopez in a separate deal, would clear enough MIA space to absorb Lopez without waiting until "July 1." You can then waive Ellington anytime by 7/6.

How much space do you need to open up? Would Stauskas for ellington do it? You'd get a wing shooter added to the deal basically for free.

Sure why not. Stauskas for Ellington.

I'm in some other talks with Stauskas. If Bkn hasn't already agreed to take ellington by the time i'm done I'll get back to you.

Do you have cap space to absorb the incoming contract, or are you looking to send back salary?

In any case, depending upon what you're thinking / looking for, I've got Jon Leuer and Boban Marjanovic that seem to fit the bill. Please let me know, thanks!

I've got an 11 million dollar exemption coming after draft. I would make whatever pick you want and send it to you

Spurs would be interested. What are you looking for in return?

Pick 29 straight up?

Bucks would have interest in Grant. What are you looking for in return? I have a couple young wings in Anderson or Vaughn who we could send your way. Anderson might need a little value added from your end.

Stauskas and grant for Anderson? Nik isn't worth a lot, but he had a nice season from 3 and could be a good depth guy.

Unfortunately Nik would just get buried behind Middleton, Snell and Vaughn. Can we swap him out for a 2nd rounder?

No 2nds to give, Stauskas is really the only sweetener I could part with.

Let me think about a straight up swap and get back to you in an hour. You can go ahead with Ellington/Stauskas swap since I don't want him.

No 2nds at all, not even in future drafts.

Could add tyus Jones for a future 2nd if that changes anything? Good place holding backup until Parker is healthy.

Just in theory what would you have in mind for #23? If I fear that my guy is gone by pick #23 I might consider something like #23/#35 for #21/#49/#51.

That would work for me.

I'm going to bed now but depending on who's going to get picked at #20 I'd do the deal.

Let me think about a straight up swap and get back to you in an hour. You can go ahead with Ellington/Stauskas swap since I don't want him.

What about Grant, Jones and Singler for Anderson and Hawes (exp)? I get a couple young players while you get a young back up SF. Then we are basically swapping bad deals. Hawes is a bit more this season (6MM vs. 4.66MM) but you get out of paying him the following year. And if I'm right, you could use another C your roster while Singler replaces Anderson as my 3rd SF. Seems like it balances out both of our rosters while keeping the money even for this season (I believe your payroll drops about $61K).

If Jones is going out I'd need one of your seconds. Then I'll have to do the math and make sure this keeps my FA plans in play. I don't want to do the math for no reason, so let me know if that sounds okay to you then I'll check.

I've got my 2018 2nd rounder and another 2019 2nd rounder (please check out the details at http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed). So how's Boban and one of those picks for #41?

I would be willing to add #48 to make this deal happen.

Edit: Or we can send you our 2018 2nd if you prefer the extra roster spot.
