He wanted out and SVG did him the favor of trading him.

He wanted out because Stan wasn't playing him. (Shocker.)

Are you serious?

If he was on our team people would be saying how crappy his. I mean this is a guy would averaged 4pts&4 rebounds this season.

Honestly I still think he was working his way back from the Achilles injury. Good for JJ.

He's a very capable bench player who knows the game and can shoot the rock. We traded him for Tayshaun **** Prince. Horrible throw-away of a reasonably priced player.

He isn't a difference maker in the least bit it's truly odd that someone makes a thread about very mediocre bench player he isn't really that good of a shooter either. It would make more sense to whine about Anthony Tolliver cause that's the guy we replaced him with and is a better player.

We didn't replace him with Tolliver. Tolliver was already on the team and getting minutes.

And Tolliver isn't a better player. Don't confuse minutes played with quality of player.

We traded for Tolliver when Jonas was already on the team he was better so we traded Jonas cause we had no SF's.

How isn't Tolliver better? better 3pt shooter and very similar numbers in the other categories.

What could have been. He's adapted his game very nicely to stretching the floor. But his rookie year before that injury he looked like a big steal. He would mix it up in the paint.

Another terrible premise for a SVG-bashing thread.

Jerebko's nickname for his last couple of seasons here quite literally translated to s**t and most posters were calling for him to be either traded or not re-signed. Then he has one good game with everyone watching and all of a sudden SVG is a villain for having got rid of him.

Right now the pessimism and negativity is at an all time high dude

So... once every six months or so the guy can get 10/5? Yeah, big loss. JJ wouldn't have even cracked the rotation here.

We've got plenty of decent rotation guys - probably too many. We're still in a position of trying to consolidate talent.

Who cares if we had JJ still or not. It's not like he alone would've made this team much better. He was a great gimmick, had his chance here and wanted out. When traded, do you think we could have gotten more for him or something? To me he was nothing more than filler in most trades. You're acting as if we dropped the ball by trading him and that he was going to turn into more than a 4-8ppg player with crap defense.
