Just humor me: Would you have considered Anigbogu at 22 if I didn't trade up?

No I was taking Semi no matter what. If Semi went at #21 i would have taken another wing no Ike.

Meh. I was pretty sure Philly wouldn't target a big (wrong) and was pretty sure you were targetting a big (wrong again), especially after you wanted to make that pick only after you were sure you could clear Lopez.

Thanks for the insight though, still happy as trading up wasn't too expensive.

Philly needed a big since I traded Okafor meaning the only centers that I had were Embiid and Holmes. I've also already taken two guards. But really, I'm very intrigued by Jeanne as someone with ridiculous length yet with touch out to 3.

I want to wait for the Suns to show up and tell us if there is any chance of the trade I proposed above going through before I make my pick(because this pick might be included in the trade). I hope that's OK, guys.

I think Spearsy handled this very fairly, which is he set a time by which he was going to pick if an acceptable trade offer wasn't received.

Oh damn, I missed it. Thanks for pointint it out. So it's me on the clock.

Any interest in pick 48 and OKC 2020 1st for 24?

No, I have my no. 12 prospect in this draft on the board. I'm not missing on him for a future pick. I'm just waiting for the Suns to show up so I'd know if there is any chance I get Bledsoe.

It's all good. Just feared the right thing (that a big would be taken before my pick and it could be Ike) for the wrong reasons. Just found it funny how that turned out. When you contacted me and were worried after the Ferguson pick that your guy wouldn't last till 23 I was sure you were targetting a guard lol.

Yes, this also gives the GM next in line the information when to expect the previous pick being made.

That's fair. How about this - 5PM ET OR earlier(if the Suns or the Nets shut down the trade)

In the meantime I will try the Heat again, but they didn't respond to my previous request. I hope I haven't offended Mystical Apples in one of our previous negotiations :(

Miami you wanted Dante Exum + picks previously for Goran Dragic. I'm willing to do Dante Exum + first rounder of your choice + second rounder of your choice for Gordan Dragic. Is this something you are interested in?

This seems like the best practice moving forward... Our equivalent to "being on the clock"....

i didnt want to make the pick until i moved lopez because i may have ended up needing the pick to pay someone to eat his salary. The bigs id look into would be late second round (57) and in free agency/RFA (Noah, Dedmon, etc)

I was targeting three guys there: Jeanne, Ike, and Ferguson. So there was definitely a possibility of me taking Ike. I just preferred Jeanne because I like his upside a bit more and given Embiid's health uncertainty, I plan to find a veteran big man as my 3rd center this year while leaving Jeanne overseas to continue his development.

What about Tyus Jones and #47 for Jerian Grant and #38 This sheds $248,458 off your payroll so you can maintain your cap hold on Lauvergne and still gives you a young PG on a rookie contract. Thoughts?

I like Tyus but not enough to believe he's a better option than Grant at back-up PG, although their. At this point I would only trade Grant as part of a trade I believe would represent an upgrade at back-up PG (or another position). I'm not too worried about cap management right now. I view Lauvergne as an end of the bench "placeholder" (don't tell him or his agent I said that :D )

Yeah, my proposal was the hope you valued Joffrey a bit higher than that so the difference in value would have been made up by retaining his rights. I also liked the notion of having both Grant brothers on the same team. Good luck moving forward,

Unfortunately, we have to consider Powell as a rental(because we will be in money crunch next year) and I'm not willing to give up first and a second for the privillege of letting him go next summer. Thanks for the offer though.

Don't know if you saw this
2020 OKC 1st (lotto protected) and 48 for 25? Justin Anderson also available
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Yes, I might be interested in this but I have to get a hold of all the offers...so many things flying around AND figure out who all got drafted.

I can update the OP with the picks so everyone is clear on where we are at and who is still available.
