Injury prone before he even steps on NBA court ...no thanks

Why not go for Bam who actually put up good stats as freshman ..13ppg 8reb...has nice size and athleticism to play both Center and power forward position ..

Eh I don't think Bam is better than Jakob he's more athleticic but Jakob has a much higher Basketball IQ. Bam doesn't really have a good feel for the game. Rather have Jakob out there. If we're trading Jonas than maybe it makes sense to take a Center.

How did you determine Jacob has higher bbq? If anything Bam has had much better freshman year playing on stacked UK then Jacob had playing on a weaker division. I think Bam has better feel for the game.. he moves better, handles the ball much better, has better mid rang shot at the same and strength wise is stronger then Jacob ..

Jakob shows his basketball IQ by being at the right spots, making the right pass, and generally making good decisions. He's proven this in the NBA. Jakob will get stronger with age not really worried about that.

Bam misses defensive rotations, not a great passer (0.8 assists to 1.7 TOs per game) finds himself in the wrong place alot. More of an athelte than a basketball player at this point.

Those mistakes have more to do with Bam being 18 year old freshman then his bbiq..

Plenty of other freshman don't have this problem. Bam has been playing basketball since high school he's not new to the game. I'm not saying he can't learn or anything. Just that Jakob is already much further ahead here almost as atheltic with quicker feet. Jakob is the better prospect.

He's not. People just want to compare one muscular black guy to another. He's more Crowder or Wes Mathews.

High octane offense? Shooting? Semi Ojeleye just seemingly put himself at the top of our draft board.

Draft Express has him going 38 to the bulls and we don't have any second round picks :(

The more I think about it the more obvious it seems that he's our guy. Big beefy forward with god given athletic ability, who shoots it at a high clip, defends multiple positions, is an IBM Watson dream date, and is a senior...

We've worked out mostly bigs, no? It seems like the kind of drill he should be at the top of.

We've had some gaurds. And Tyler Lyndon and TJ Leaf. Lyndon's supposed to be a shooter tho. I think semi is ahead of him in the boards now at least.

Kobi Simmons, Tyler Dorsey and Dillon Brooks were all there with Semi today.

We have no idea what their board looks like and it's doubtful a drill would cause any shift. Maybe that writer just likes Semi, I don't know, but there's not a lot of context in that stat other than he did the best.

Half of my posts have been bitching about getting Semi since about my join date. Trade 23 to Philly for 37, 39, 40. That gets us Semi Ojeleye, Devin Robinson, and Jonah Bolden. These guys are all lights out shooters something we need to compete in the new NBA and to make up for DD's lack of 3 ball. They all shoot 40+% on 4+ FGA from 3-point range.

If Anthony can be acquired as the new starting 4 next to Ibaka it would be perfect. You have possibly 4 great three point shooters around DeRozan at all times.

Ibaka
Melo
Ojeleye
DeRozan
Lowry

He's coming in with improved playmaking as well hopefully to find the open shooter more often while maybe improving his own three? From at least the corner I would hope.

This guy calls Semi the terminator.

Semi is still the player I want in this draft.
