POLL: Who are you taking at #4?
Assuming Fultz, Ball, and Jackson are off the board, and you have to make a pick, no trading, who do you take and why?

Isaac - combine his length and skill set with Bender and Chris the potential is there for an amazing 3,4,5 man combination. Super versatile on both ends of the floor. Perfect body type/athletic profile to partner with Booker. But the whole thing would be high ceiling low floor kinda stuff.

I think I agree, though I wouldn't mind the guards if we were going to trade Bledsoe. I guess you didn't vote though? Because I did, and there is only one vote for Isaac after mine.
For the OP...just for the defense...we need defensive versatility and his ability and upside to guard multiple positions while still being able to hit the 3 and stuff is pretty valuable.

Fox because he's a Kentucky guard and that's reason enough.

Re: POLL: Who are you taking at #4?
Not sure at this point. Warren I think will be a 20 point player on great efficiency next season, along with above average defense. That alone makes me wonder if taking Isaac or Tatum is the best choice for the franchise. Since we just finished with the 2nd worst record in the league, it's obvious we should be taking BPA but I'm unsure who that is right now.

Intrigued with isaac in the long versatile 3, 4 5 rotation...
BUT
Fox is the bpa...true to his position....having a niche in any draft is huge...hes is he is the fastest player in the entire draft, and like Josh jackson, one hiccup, hopefully a correctible one, from being the person this draft is remembered for.

Dennis Smith Jr.
1. Next two drafts supposedly thin on pg position.
2. Draft experts say he is the most talented player bar Fultz inn the draft.
3. I believe the questioning of his mentality are blown out of proportion. Think Watson+ vets would get him in line.

SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Today I'm leaning towards Fox. We are bad at guarding the 3. It would be good to see some defensive toughness from our PG and if he can improve on his shooting (which I believe he will as he is supposedly a hard worker), then we have the bpa.

Also Fox's character is exemplary.... there are good athletes with good attitudes in the world. He is dedicated to being better and putting Ball in his place 4 plus times a year!

Probably but we change our minds consistently. We should actually do it every Monday morning until draft. And BW can track the paradigm shift.

It's funny, a week ago, when Laimbeer did this, Tatum wins the poll, now Isaac clearly wins it.

The ebb and flow of opinions leading up to the draft. It will change again no doubt.

Yeah, this year it seems much more than most. Last year I know I didn't change my feelings and who I wanted the whole time. This time I feel conflicted.
I mean all year I've been saying Tatum doesn't excite me...he's good at a lot of things but not great at anything, except maybe ISO, which I'm not a fan of.
Then I draft the guy in a mock draft because I figure overall, he's the BPA. I don't even know if I feel that is what you should do. Obviously a guy like Isaac likely has a much bigger upside, but probably a lower floor, so those things make it tough.

Isaac. I don't want to stunt the development of the young guys by starting over at PG again. Especially not with a toothpick that can't shoot.
That hitch in JJ's shot scares me. It's exactly like Matt Barnes who became an average shooter into his late-20's. Derrick Williams shot 50% from 3 on more attempts at Arizona so I don't care about his 37% or whatever. Doesn't pass the eye test.

Re: POLL: Who are you taking at #4?
If we dont plan on moving bledsoe then i take Tatum. I think he spreads the floor better than tj ever will. I like his talent better than the rest.
