Congratulations, if there's a worse trade idea out there than this one I haven't seen it.

He left out #1 pick and Brooklyn 18 pick and Brown going with Horford.

Not sure what the obsession with Saric is all about. We're knocking IT for being a poor defender. At least he's a point guard and not a power forward.

He has some issues and is clearly on the decline, but he could definitely be an option in that Griffin/Milsap type discussion in terms of a second big to pair with Horford.

The problem is the players the Celtics would want to include are unlikely to interest the Spurs at all.

Thoughts?

May as well add a second and less reliable Al Horford lol. Two can get owned on the boards together.

I wanted Aldridge bad when he was a Free Agent, but I'm over it now. Now if Spurs by some miracle decide to blow it up and want all our picks for Kawhi then wake me up :P

Saric is so overrated by some who thinks he holds this kind of value.

The secret to this is playing for a different team.

Looks like the Next MCW, good (empty) stats on a bad team.

I was actually wondering about Bosh a few weeks ago. Then I saw your post & then this article:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2711417-top-potential-landing-spots-for-chris-bosh-in-2017-nba-free-agency

They list us as the top potential destination for Bosh (Cleveland 2nd). I don't have the slightest clue about what type of contract he'd receive but I do wonder if there was a way to clear up enough salary to sign Hayward & take a flyer on Bosh. Assuming best case scenario, he's healthy and gets us a couple years of production at PF; he'd be a terrific stop gap fit until we hopefully draft a front court player in the 2018 draft.

I agree, he's making his heat money either way. Wonder if he is still boys with Lebron or if he maybe felt at all slighted by his departure. Would be nice if he gave us first look. If he can't pass the physical than it's a moot point. Question would be if he does pass, would he do a vet minimum just to have a shot to play again. Only way I could see us still being able to add Hayward.
“There’s a sense of pride, there’s an edge you have to have to play here. I can only imagine the love, the reception, if you hung one of those banners up. It would be incredible — it’s going to be incredible. I know it.” —Jayson Tatum
