Time for a fresh start. That 2017 ASG thread is just bad memories.

NBA has confirmed the 2019 ASG will be hosted by Charlotte.

May 24, 2017 – Charlotte Hornets Chairman Michael Jordan released the following statement today:

“We are thrilled the league has awarded NBA All-Star 2019 to the city of Charlotte. We want to thank Commissioner Silver for his leadership throughout this process and for the decision to bring NBA All-Star back to Buzz City. All-Star Weekend is an international event that will provide a tremendous economic impact to our community while showcasing our city, our franchise and our passionate Hornets fan base to people around the world. We look forward to serving as hosts for NBA All-Star 2019 and welcoming all visitors and guests to Spectrum Center.”

Will Kemba be able to carry his current form and rep us at the all star game in 2019?

At the rate we're going, the event at the 2019 All Star game will self-identify as basketball but really it will be a pre-game shoot around with less defense, not biologically basketball at all.

I wish they'd feel the same way about the playoffs.

But whatever I'm happy for the people of Charlotte, hopefully it will be a fun week for everyone.

I expect him to do so. And I hope by 2019 we already have a legit young star to pair with Kemba.

I expect him to do so. And I hope by 2019 we already have a legit young star to pair with Kemba.

Don't forget the Rising Stars game. The Hornets, especially as the host franchise, could land a sophomore or rookie into that event.

I was literally just about to book a hotel for 2017 before they cancelled.

People I know and on social media were really excited about the all star game. Hopefully Charlotte can actually host it this year.

So now that we have the All Star game back in Charlotte what are the odds we have Monk in the 3 point or dunk contest that year? They are always looking for young fresh faces.
