What to do with 2nd round pick?
Our 2nd round pick this year is #41. Anyone have an idea of who you want us to take? or do you want us to trade it? or just sell it?
I would keep it and take a swing on a PG, maybe Frank Mason from Kansas.

I'd really like to see us add some cheap depth by way of a 3 or 4 year college vet, someone that can come in immediately and push guys like Weber, Graham and JOB.

Frank Jackson if his injury makes him fall (doubtful).
In Reality:
Josh Hart
Thornwell
NWG
Frank Mason
I'd be fine with picking any of these young men.
Edit: Please God, keep the pick!

Dean on Draft (from the link MA posted in the Lauri thread) seems to be a huge fan of Hart. He had him ranked in the low 20s.

Unfortunately several of my sleepers withdrew, notably Justin Jackson (Maryland) and Mo Wagner (Michigan). Of the remaining guys I'd look at Cameron Oliver, Alec Peters, and Jordan Bell.

Re: What to do with 2nd round pick?
Well it depends on which old, not very good vet we trade the 11 for, but....
PG: Frank Jackson
Wing: Sindarius Thornwell or Josh Hart
Big: Caleb Swanigan, Bam Adebayo

Re: What to do with 2nd round pick?
Frank Jackson is going in the first, the mock drafts are way off on him. If they weren't he'd be a no brainer at 41.
Other guys I like in that mock range such as Ojeleye and Motley will also probably be gone by 41. If so I think I'd go for Thornwell. He's not a great athlete but he's a two way player that does everything well. I think he could contribute almost immediately.

So what you're saying is that you're a Duke fan?

I still want an Aussie, so I'm going for Jonah Bolden. Went to Euroland to develop as a stretch 4, athletic.

Nope, just recognize talent when I see it. I don't care what school they went to.

Re: What to do with 2nd round pick?
I'm still pretty interested in Monte Morris, true floor general PG with good size and a jumper.

Not to mention all of the experts have him in the first round.

Interesting prospect. I don't have a whole lot of interest in who we draft 41 though. Whoever it is will likely spend most of next year playing for the Swarm.

Not so sure about this one. Intrigued about Mc Dowell-White though. Especially if he develops a midrange game. But this kid has amazing fundamentals (on both hands).
If all goes well, i assume he will be available in 2018 or 2019 draft.
Ingles would be awesome for current nba players if he can be added at a fair price (for the Hornets).
For my part, i would take a bet on a big like Adebayo or Lessort (french prospect), especially if something is done with Plumlee. or BPA (trade asset in mind).

Huh, not to cherry pick but I did a quick search on Google, and found this
DX has him 38th
NBADraftNet has him 33rd
Sports Illustrated doesn't have him in the first (no 2nd round mock)
Tankathon has him at 45
Of the 4 dudes on Basketball Insiders, only one has him as a first rounder (at 30th, no second round mocks)
Neither of the 2 dudes on CBS have him in the first (no second round mocks)
NBC Sports doesn't have him in the first (no second round mock)
Yahoo doesn't have him in the first (no second round mock)
Can't see ESPN
Not to say he shouldn't be a target, because he'd be a nice pick at 41, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves

Heart would be fine. Sindarius Thornwell has been on my radar too.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

You have a rough night, Francis? Whether LofJ liked Duke or not it's pretty easy to assume Frank has a promise somewhere in the first round or he would have just gone back to Duke for another season and barring injury been a first rounder for sure in the '18 draft.
