Negative interest in jawun Evans. Little guards need to be lightning quick and be good shooters to excel in the NBA. Evans is neither of those things. To me he's a 2nd round flier pick but undraftable in the first. There's so many better options in the mid first for guards.

Still doing research. By that I mean looking at DX videos. Leaf reminds me of Tom Gugliotta.

That's all for now.

IM early at the o ointment where if we trade down for 2 late first/late first early 2nd, I'd just go Tyler Dorsey and Josh Hart. They bring clear NBA skills, they fit in the roster, everything about them fits our team it seems. Dorsey you try and develop like a Brogdon/Delladova PG, extremely effective off ball. Hart just seems like the smart type of SG that you can plug in any lineup and he will make winning plays. Throw in maybe a Frank Mason at 48 and then just run with the lineup of:

PG: Delly/Dorsey/Mason
SG: Brogdon/Hart

Makes Snell expendable, but even if you bring him back, you can play him and Middleton at SF more too while Giannis gets the PF minutes and some smal ball center minutes if Monroe leaves

So, can someone shed more light on Frank Jackson's foot injury? How serious is it really? Chances of giving him issues down the line?

Considering he had the surgery after the combine and the workouts and has been playing on it, the idea is some team has given him a draft promise which is why he elected to have it now

Derek White and Frank Mason look damn solid across all three levels if I followed those charts correctly

Frank Mason really needs to be on this team

I truly think he's gonna be one of those guys GM's are going to be kicking themselves for passing on him.

Apparently a mini stress fracture that may or may not have needed surgery. He probably got a promise he liked and opted to go for the surgery. No risk of the injury affecting his play at all.

If only we would have had a late 1st just laying around still, this would have been the draft to have a late 1st. At least we didn't have one and trade it away for a non needle moving deal.

Now, if we could find a way to get a late 1st again I'd go Frank Jackson #17 Thomas Bryant/Jeanne late 1st and Frank Mason at 48 and hope he's still there

Iwundu would be great in the 2nd as well, haven't heard much about him but a 6'7 SG with a 7 foot plus reach is attractive, needs to work on his jumper a bit but already a good defender.

I feel like elective foot surgery is a bad idea.

I mean it really depends on the injury. That said the recovery time is supposed to be like 2 month so I doubt it's anything major. Hard to tell from the outside perspective.

Found this on the Duke board for Luke Kennard.

Love him to death. Just an unreal offensive player, every skill you could imagine. But he really is re worst defender I've ever seen at Duke. I'm actually shocked that K allows it. K 10yrs ago wouldn't have IMO.
I've paid close attention to it the last handful of games and I attribute it to low defensive IQ, ball watching and effort. This needs to be looked at IMO.
It's frustrating because he has the offensive skills that you dream of in a basketball player.

That sums him up pretty well. I'd love to add his shooting, but there isn't a word for him in the English language in regards to his defense. Liability is giving him too much credit.

My new #17 is Isaiah Hartenstein

Plan : Draft the best possible big #17, at #48 there will be a good guard waiting.

Requirements for the Big: Mobile,as tall possible, mid range game with potential 3pt range, rim protector/good FT shooter, NBA Ready body, good passer is a plus. I pass on volleyball players with rim protection and 50-60% FT.

So at #17 Isaiah Hartenstein checks my requirements.
I think he is close to Vucevic with some potential to be a better rim protector, better handles and faster.
Watch in the video his "Kevin Love to Lebron full court pass". His body is NBA Ready, but he can get it better.

My #48 Frank Mason/Tyler Dorsey ... a good guard will be waiting, we draft the best guard available.

I think you have a new #17 every minute ;).

I'd back Hartenstein though.

Forgive me Bucks posters. Torn with this draft class. Too many eye popping flaws on most below 12. Doing my best.

Hartenstein has a flaw. It is his % @Rim, finishing through contact, but while getting stronger he will figure it out.
His flaw can be "covered" by his mid range game, 3pt range, and his FT%.
Potential Mobile Stretch 5, any time you get a chance to draft one, you get em, too rare.

I am a big fan and he tends to come in and out of my top 5. More because there are so many good options. I do think he is maybe the most likely prospect for people to say in two years "how did he last so long in the draft"

Hartenstein was a train wreck at the hoop summit, aggressive for sure but nah
