Orlando is going to rebuild. With their 6th pick, they could get Isaac. With Gordon, Isaac and Biyombo, they don't need Vucevic anymore

Whiteside would probably cost us picks more than 1. I suspeect even MIA asking for BKN pick, which will never happen, but it will take a lot more than just Avery to get Whiteside. Dude averages 17/14/2and he has developed a little mid range J(short one but still). Anyhow it's nice to dream I just don't think he's our type of big. We're looking to stretch the floor as much as possible.
I suspect Miami asking for Brown or Brooklyn 18 and I don't want to do that haha. I really hope we invest in a traditional center but I fear we won't. Lopez, Gortat and Thompson did waaaaay too much damage to us this year.

I'd think it takes much more than Bradley to get Whiteside. He's actually an attractive asset, unlike Drummond.
Drummond is available for a reason, he's good but limited on offense, and bad on defense (although in theory could be good if he got his act together), and was a problem in the locker room this year.
Of course, he's a pretty good scorer because of his finishing ability, but if it comes at the expense of spacing and team offense... that's a problem. There's a reason the Pistons' fairly talented team missed the playoffs.
You literally just described Whiteside, as well.
I'd take Drummond over Whiteside. All things being equal, he is 23 while Whiteside is 27.

Willie Cauley Stein would be a great pickup for us as a young, athletic shot blocker and finisher. What does everyone think of a deal built around Terry Rozier for Cauley Stein? Share your thoughts.
I threw out Rozier, jackson and the clippers pick on the trade board. most thought not enough value for WCS. Sac fans like how he played after the Cousins trade and seem uninterested in moving him really.

The problem with investing big money in a traditional center is they'd still be unplayable whenever the Cavs or Dubs go small. Adding a situational big will help though -- someone not named Tyler Zeller (or aging Amir or soft Kelly) that we could throw in there just to bang bodies in the paint whenever Thompson/Gortat/Lopez are on the floor. Eventually that could be Zizic, but trading for/signing a cheap-ish vet big this offseason would be great as Ante gets his feet wet. Ideally, you want bigs that can switch on to or trap guards and are able to recover back into the paint to protect the rim. But those don't grow on trees. (Nerlens Noel was my guy coming into last season.)

After we get our free agent (preferably Hayward) we should deal for Chandler. His 13 mil seems like a bargain if you consider we've been paying Amir and Zeller 20 mil, and Chandler can give us better numbers and quality minutes than the two of them combined.

Ainge says Celtics are keeping Horford and Thomas. Unconcerned about costs.
But Danny Ainge doesn’t believe the Little Guy is going anywhere — not now nor when his contract expires after next season.
The questions from the outside of whether Thomas can be a major part of a title-contending team are almost too silly to answer. But some people wonder whether the Celts will be able to keep all their desired pieces together as Thomas, Avery Bradley and others come up for renewal in this new marketplace.
“Yeah, we can fit everybody in,” said Ainge. “But, listen, those are questions that I don’t even have answers for yet. That’s part of the difficult puzzle that is all hard.
