He's one of two players I can see the 76ers working out and picking over Josh Jackson. At the #3 pick, I really don't see the upside in Tatum, but he should be a good NBA starter in a few years.

The other prospect I can see the 76ers selecting is Dennis Smith. Dennis Smith would be a slight disappointment, because Jackson is a better prospect, but I could see the 'fit' argument. So while I think it would be a missed opportunity, I'd still be intrigued by the potential.

Another point on smith is everywhere BC has gone he has wanted I get HIS guy for the point guard spot. I could see him doing the same with DSJ.

It's Josh Jackson or Jonathan Isaac. Maybe Malik Monk or Tatum when some old school powerful and/or very credible guy's voice won the war room. That's how I look at it right now. Fultz or Ball if one of them slips to us, which is a real possibility.

This is hilarious. LaMelo looks like a scrub in this video but obviously they are taking all his misses. I'm sure he made some shots.

We're probably going to leave this draft with De'Aaron Fox, for better or worse. I think he fits the size, uptempo defensive point guard that Brown likes and I bet they feel like they can fix his shot. Especially since it started to look really good at the end of the season. Now if he could get over 200lbs, we'd be in business.

If it is Fox then I hope we can trade down and grab another asset.

A fun game to rewatch because OG is tasked with defending Donovan Mitchell this game. OG struggles with screens a bit but is ridiculously fluid in his movements. Can become a Draymond Green type defender if his knee is alright.

Guys before Dennis Smith Jr. tore his ACL he was the top point guard prospect BY FAR some calling him the best PG prospect of the decade. He has the most star potential IMO and that injury risk might be worth it. he has that alpha dog IT factor scoring wise.

I want the #5 & #10 from Sacramento, then move up from #10 past the Knicks to #7. Take Jonathan Isaac with #5, and (Fox/DSJ) at #7. If you can't move up from #10, Mitchell would be just fine.

Mitchell annihilated Indiana on defense in this game. He scores 25, but his defense was really the impressive part. He'll be a hot commodity in this league to chase the Lillards and Currys around.

EDIT: for example, watch him deny James Blackmon and go in for the rebound https://youtu.be/Umergw3N71s?t=1h5m17s

Lefties tend to look alike but his form does remind me of Mike Conley, who had similar numbers as a freshman.

Now I'm watching a few minutes of FSU vs Wake Forest to form more of an opinion on Isaac. He has a good all around game (12 pts, 9 rebs, 2 blks, 2 stls, 2 asts). So far, I would have loved to see more aggression out of him on offense. I'm hoping he's not just great at beating PFs off the dribble and can do that against SFs too. Defensively, he looks great.

I'll say this, I'd be content with trading for 5 and 10 and getting Fox and Mitchell. I don't think I'd ever had any complaints about their motor/defense. I also believe they can both defend any guards.

Nah, man, that's a tired old line that dates from the 80s and 90s. It's true that Duke tends to recruit kids from straight backgrounds and tends to attract more cut-and-dried/conservative players but it's the dumbest thing in the world to judge a guy by what school he went to.

Looking at the list of recent Duke players, looks like more have been steals than flops. Kyrie, Rodney Hood, Redick, Mason Plumlee, Miles Plumlee, Josh McRoberts, and Deng were all great value draft picks for where they were chosen. Dunleavy, Jahlil, A Rivers, and maybe Winslow are the only flops. (Going back a little further, you have Boozer, Brand, and Battier that were all great values too, not to mention Grant Hill.)

I really want to see Jackson's workout. I feel workouts this year are more important than years past. Embiid was locked in at 3, Russell was locked in at 3 to us(til he was taken at 2) and Simmons was locked in at 1). This year, I feel workouts could make or break that pick at 3.

For example, if our staff is underwhelmed with all the workouts in general, I think we're more apt to try to make a trade involving the pick. If Josh Jackson absolutely kills his workout and his jumper looks good, he probably is in the lead at 3. If he bombs the shooting aspect of his workout, I think the Sixers may not want him.

Workouts will be huge this year.

Even if Jackson put out a video of him making 20 straight 3s I doubt his shot got better in 2 months. Simmons had his shot worked on and his form is still the same and he still can't shoot.
