The ebb and flow of opinions leading up to the draft. It will change again no doubt.

Yeah, this year it seems much more than most. Last year I know I didn't change my feelings and who I wanted the whole time. This time I feel conflicted.

I mean all year I've been saying Tatum doesn't excite me...he's good at a lot of things but not great at anything, except maybe ISO, which I'm not a fan of.

Then I draft the guy in a mock draft because I figure overall, he's the BPA. I don't even know if I feel that is what you should do. Obviously a guy like Isaac likely has a much bigger upside, but probably a lower floor, so those things make it tough.

I don't get the lower floor thing for Isaac. There have only be 5 players in the last 10 years in college basketball to post his defensive rebounding %, block %, and steal % and those traits are typically things that transition well to the pros. At the very least he's a plus rebounder and defender but a low usage guy on O. And his shot is comparable to Tatum; they shot the same 3pt % and Isaac wasn't far behind him as a FT shooter. If you think Tatum will shoot the 3 well in the pros there' no reason to think Isaac can't. Now the concern with Isaac is he might never have the full spectrum of offensive game and might never be even the top 3 scorer a good team where as if Tatum hit's he could eventually be a number 1 or 1b type offensive player. But to me Tatum has the lower floor because if he can't score efficiently I'm not sure he will do enough other things to be a positive player.

I would take Zach Collins at 4 over Issac. His numbers are better across the board and fits a position of need.

I think that after Jackson the best value for the suns is Tatum. If the Suns didnt have Bledsoe, Knight and Ulis I would think about taking Fox but Tatum is my pick right now after Jackson.

I'm excited about:
Fox - seems to have a great attitude and work ethic.
Fultz - Can't miss prospect

I want nothing to do with:
Ball - He's going to bust hard
Dennis Smith - Too many injuries already
Monk - Brandon Knight 2.0

I'm skeptical of:
Jackson - attitude

I'd be OK with:
Tatum - Seems like a solid player

I don't get the hype around:
Issac - He'll be a rotation player, but I'm not sold on him being special.

Fox please.

Athleticism, ball handling and attitude are all stellar.

The jump shot is correctable - the form looks a lot better than Jackson's.

I think a pretty safe floor is Dennis Schroeder, and the ceiling is John Wall. I'll happily take my chances with that, and move Bledsoe for something decent.

I don't see huge upside in Tatum (I see him as a Tobias Harris type player at best). I wouldn't take that over Fox's floor.

Isaac is intriguing, but there's too much bust potential. Moreoever, he'd be a project at this stage, and we already have two major ones in Chriss and Bender. One can't have too many players all developing at the same time.

There really are a ton of things to like about Fox. I don't know Schroeder much...but I think Fox, if he doesn't learn to shoot, will be just like Elfrid Payton. If he does learn to shoot, then that changes everything.

The problem is, we don't have anyone on our team who even shoots 38% from 3, and it kills us. Dudley is close and Booker is around 36%. Hopefully Booker can get better and the two bigs we drafted last year who are not shy at shooting 3s, and then Warren too would be nice. I think Tatum will end up a good shooter and probably have a good all around offensive game. Nothing really excites me about him though. Interesting comparison on Tobias.

tatum is seemingly the most reasonable choice. bender and chriss you have, it would be luxurious to pick isaac. monk wouldnt make sense either since booker has a great ceiling.

Not really. Need more info. Wanna hear about workouts. Also it depends on team's plans for Bled. If I knew intentions, it would make it easier.

I selected no one, since I've been conducting a certain bandwagon for a while. Next time we do this, can we add Zach Collins?
