Portland would need a PG13 like offer to move CJ. We're not shopping him, it would have to be a deal where we went... "Man... I don't think I can turn this down." which is in effect what Portland's management has been stating, I am just trying to be consistent with it.

Here is an example... Had BullyKing come to me draft day and said... #3 & Saric, and a future 1st (say.. the OKC pick) I would have been hard pressed to say no.

Is there a cost attached to Dwight outside of being able to match salaries and providing a decent C in return?
Also, if you're shopping Dwight, is Millsap available in a S&T?

I would probably sell CJ for slightly less, but Portland's management has been pretty clear that they want to see if Dame, CJ, and Nurk are what they were after the all-star break for an entire season, or if it was fools gold... The advanced stats of that time period are very, very good.

So for me to change the possibilities on that, It would have to be a very clear win for Portland from a deal standpoint.

I just want something comparable to the agreed upon CLE trade, before he disappeared.
"Dwight for Tristan, Shump, 3-2nd rd picks"
I just do not want 60M frontcourt while ATL is retooling.

Not looking to S&T Millsap.

The value is completely fine, but it isn't tipping me over the potential free agents out there. I have my eyes on a few people. If I can't get them, then your offer will be considered.

I do have Gasol set up to go to the Sixers tied to a lottery protected first. It's not final. I can offer that to you along with Ish and our 2018 2nd. Do you have the cap/interest to do it?

Philadelphia is fine with you shopping around but will need to know one way or the other once free agency starts as we'll be in the market for a backup big without this trade.

I think we are in. What would it take to add Ish to this? I know youre not interested but i got to ask one more time.

Ugh, you're really trying to get me to go Full Hinkie aren't you? Let me give it some thought. I have to figure out how his 2018-19 salary would impact me.

Lol. I know. I'm open to a lot of different scenarios. Dejounte Murray is a name I would discuss.

What about Gortat, Delly, Pondexter for Dwight?

Leaves you with Payton/Lee/Porter/Zinger/Dwight. Still get butts in the seat and win a few games while your young guys develop. Get rid of the cancer that's Melo. :)

Indy has an ugly offer..

Ian Mahinmi, Kris Dunn... We'd add all the seconds you want. Or Jordan Mickey / Niang / Wade Baldwin?

We have to send out Ian for salaries.. Which hurts any offer we make obviously, unless you are a fan of Dunn. Which no one seems to be.

Jay you're supposed to keep this realistic - you've been making WAY too many moves.

All the moves I've made involve the same players I've traded for as I have skated under the cap. So the end roster won't look too unreliastic? That should count for something..

I still have 4 of my 5 starters assuming Teague comes back... .. If I combine Ian+Dunn+Mickey or Baldwin into Dwight.. I'll only have Dwight, Morris, and Evan as new players in my rotation. Just would have taken a ton of steps to get to it

The Kings waived Afflalo on draft night to avoid his contract becoming fully guaranteed. We can still be asked to be in a trade like this, but it will have to be modified. We will need different compensation for taking on Knight in the form of a future first rounder (preferably 2019 when we don't have a 1st). The problem is that I see the Protected '18 DEN 1st going to PHX.

With dumping Brandon Knight, maybe the Suns would accept the following deals

Nuggets aquire: Eric Bledsoe
Suns aquire: Barton, Nelson or Mudiay, GSW 2018 2nd and the right to swap picks in 2019 or 2020
Kings aquire: Knight, DEN 2018 1st (top-10 protected)

Kings aquire: Knight, DEN 2018 1st (top-10 protected)

The Kings current roster:
italicized=unsigned rookie

PG - De'Aaron Fox, Jordan Clarkson, Langston Galloway
SG - Buddy Hield, Garrett Temple, Malachi Richardson
SF - Justin Jackson, Rodions Kurucs
PF - Skal Labissiere, Anthony Tolliver, Jordan Bell, Trevor Booker, Josh McRoberts
C - Willie Cauley-Stein, Kosta Koufos, Georgios Papagiannis

If we are taking on Knight, we will need to send something out. We can include a few different things:
- We can add Jordan Clarkson to the trade, but we will need more assets coming our way. (Prefered route)
- We can add salary filler in some combination of Galloway, Booker, and McRoberts.
- Other players can be added, but for extra compensation. (Example: Koufos)

The problem with taking on Knight is that we already have a somewhat balanced roster. If we add another Combo Guard, then we risk taking minutes away from Fox, Hield and Malachi. This is why we are asking to send back something or expand the trade.

Let´s wait for BW what he says but something like Clarkson, Barton, GSW 2018 2nd, right to swap picks with DEN for Bledsoe and Knight is fair value imo.

Clarkson, Barton, and the 60th pick in the draft? No, that's not a fair value. I don't even find that close at all. A pick swap with a better team is essentially worthless.
