Stan is a lot of talk as far as I can see. It seems like the game is still too fast for him on offense. I really wouldn't write him off as a bust yet. I never thought KCP would be this good and he's not that great, just a good two way player. I don't believe Stanley's shot will get any better, maybe a more solid percentage. He needs to find go to shots, stop settling for mid range shots. His dribbling needs a ton of work and he needs to stop second thinking everything on offense. Defensively he can guard the big boys no problem which is a MAJOR thumbs up. People don't understand how big it is that a player an defend at an elite level and that means stay in front of your man, stick to him. Much harder than it looks and really underestimated financially speaking.
People talk about Stanley's shot. No. It's literally everything offensively he needs to work on. I play basketball a lot at the gym and my friend is huge compared to the other players. But he's lazy on the floor, doesn't try to move around he can just tank his way through cuz of his size. The same happens with Stanley except in the NBA you're not going anywhere past anyone. So yes drop the Drew League and work on your skills. As far as I know offensively he's not even close to starting and that's probably because he doesn't get the ball enough. Problem is he doesn't know what to do with the ball once he gets it and literally settles for a jumpshot. That's weak basketball. Shouldn't be that hard to learn how to go left or right, inside and out. Practice! Practice! Practice!
