I think we should get Frank Mason in the second round with one of our picks. Especially if we draft Jackson.

NBA GMs will never bail you out when you stockpile at one position. Generally the players do not produce as well as they could on the court creating even more devaluation.

Difference is that Okafor, Noel and Embiid can never co-exist on the same floor since their skillsets all limit them as 5's. Iguodala and Turner are also poor fits in the sense that they both clog the lane.

Like you said, Isaac is a stretch 4 on the offensive end, while Simmons will have the ball in his hands as much as possible. As long as Jonathan Isaac is capable of providing enough gravity I don't see a reason why that's doomed to fail. Defensively they have kind of overlapping skills, since both player's best position is defending the opponents 4. However, they're both capable of defending the three, so unlike Okafor + Noel/Embiid and Turner + Iguodala they're not devestating fits on one end of the floor.

That said, it's obviously not the ideal fit like Malik Monk for example.

Iguodala shot .394 from 3 during his final season here, so I disagree with the lane clogging thing pertaining to both of them...

Well one game away from conference final isn't bad for such a mediocre roster talent wise and got Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, so it's not a good example for getting poor value (yeah I know that trade hurt us badly, but it was a risk-reward thing).

His defense is truly underrated. Might be the best perimeter defender in this class. I said it before, but while everyone comfortably zigs (Monk, Ball) to be the next Warriors, we should be zagging to play air tight defense on these guys. I'd rather Curry be chucking up 30+ foot shots because he's being pestered to hell by Mitchell than trying to go shot for shot with him.

That's why I'm on board with someone like OG Anunoby because his offense can be tinkered to the point where he's a good role player, but on defense, he's the same size/length and about the same athleticism (maybe not anymore after the injury) as LeBron. He has the chops to give someone like LeBron trouble.

OG and Isaac are the most versatile defenders in this draft and it would be great to leave with at least one of them.

Jordan Bell is probably the best defender in this draft

Nik Slavica looks interesting. Monsterous dunks on people and blocks. Time to throw Manu's name in here for the comparison.

That block happened some time ago, he's much more muscular today.

Just watched a large amount of the Duke @ FSU game. If he didn't play with chuckers like Bacon and Rathan Mayes, he would have put up way more points. Between playing offense mainly on the perimeter and guarding the opposing SF, I think it's safe to say that he's a wing at the next level. He's not OG Anunoby good at defense, but he's damn close.

On a side note, FSU and Duke are miserable to watch. Both play zero team ball, but you can tell Duke squandered an amazing opportunity. That team was stacked.

I just re-watched that game and almost put Tatum atop my board (again). Lol. I love them all. Trade down!

I'm still firmly team Jackson, but whoever we get in the top 8 or so will immediately step in as our third best prospect, and will have the potential to grow into an allstar.

So I'm sure that I will quickly get excited by whichever player we select. There is nobody in the top 8 that I definitely don't want to draft. There are just several players that I would want to trade down from 3 to select.

Nik Slavica have nothing like Manu. I'm watch more than 20 his games this season (ABA league). He is very athletic (for Euro-Balkan kid) and can run, but cant shot (11% 3pt and 55% FT ) - he only can finish on rim. Low BBIQ, can't create, terrible team defender... and yes - his body looks monstrously for 19y.

I love Frank Jackson for the 76ers. Let him develop along side Bayless for a year or so. He will be a draft steal in this system. Good scoring skills and nice size and athleticism. Very similar to BAYLESS. Has that fire that BAYLESS has as well.

Not sure I posted this game. Donovan Mitchell playing point guard, scores 11 points in the first 5 minutes. Absolutely cooks Dennis Smith Jr this game.

Also, if you want to watch a video where DSJ looks good, do no watch the one I just posted. He was horrible in that game.

Another evaluation that I'm going through is if prospects show up big in a big game: Whether that be against an NBA prospect or a marquee matchup.

De'Aaron Fox was massive against UCLA x 2, UNC (foul trouble the second time), Florida, Louisville, Michigan State

Josh Jackson struggles a bit early on against IU and Duke, but went nuts against Oklahoma St, WVU x 2, Baylor, Michigan St, Oregon, and Purdue.

I do fear that DSJ struggles against good team defenses. 8 points in the game I posted against Louisville. 8 points against FSU. Inefficient against UVA, ND, UNC. He does have some explosive games against Duke, Miami, Creighton.

I didn't realize how bad Washington's schedule (during the stretch Fultz played) was. I think it's definitely something to keep in mind. He missed two games against NIT opponents (Colorado, Utah) and three against NCAA Tourney teams (USC twice and UCLA).

Still looking at some of these, but the NBA prospects are the baseline talent that these guys will be facing in the NBA.

I know it was just an oversight, but you forgot to include the win against Kentucky in Rupp, where Jackon went 20 and 10 and looked like clearly the best player on the court for both teams.

Check out all of the weight Swanigan lost. That's a bigger and quicker transformation than Tobias Harris had, College to pro. I'm going to bump him up my big board. Dude can play, and now he isn't fat.
