LBJ is 1-7 in game 1s of finals so it's still doable but they are going to have to change the way they play Curry/KD.

Their entire team looked lost defensively and got crushed on the boards. I expect a different game 2.

KD had better numbers but people need to recognize who the opposition treats as the bigger threat between KD and Curry.

People think I'm crazy but I would still take Curry over Durant.

To me hes the 2nd best player in the world.

The spacing he creates is insane.

I don't get the hatred of Durant either.

LeBron started the Super team thing. Durant just did the same thing.

Who cares if it was a 73 win team?

Truth is Klay and Draymond are both good, but not great players.

They needed another Superstar to become an all-time great team. They were too reliant on Curry, who has a propensity to get injured.

I care, I think it matters. If your a 73 win team and won the chip a year before than they clearly don't need another superstar. OKC was up 3-1 on GS but KD shied away from the moment and couldn't get it done. I hate that "if you can't beat them, join them" attitude. You are right that LeBron started the whole thing which is why I'm not really a fan either and that's why I hated when he went to Miami because I already seen this trend coming. This new generation is so weak minded. Now CP3 is going to join Spurs, which I don't mind because CP3 is already old but when you're in your prime, and your top 3 player in the world, and any team you go to will automatically be a playoff contender, why go to a team with 3 other stars already and already broke the record for wins?

Durant's size mixed with his skill level to me slightly puts him over Curry but I don't think it's a black and white topic. Both players are top 3-4.

It's not crazy. There's a reason why he was the 2-time MVP and his 2015-16 is arguably the GOAT offensive season in league history.

He warps defenses to an insane degree. Choosing to shadow guard a Curry 3pt attempt on a fast break over giving up an easy dunk is crazy. There's only one player in the league who gets that type of treatment and respect.

speaking for myself... i dont think its the same thing at all. its not the superteam thing for me, its the hippocracy.

dont call other players out for joining super teams on your soap box and then go join a superteam after just choking away a 3-2 lead on GSW the year before

You seriously gonna hold something against him he said in 2011?

Comon bro. He was 22.

LeBron said he wouldn't leave Cleveland till he won them a Championship. That didn't work out how he'd hoped either.

has anyone had a sharper decline than deron williams, he was the best point guard in the nba at one time and top 2 with cp3 at one point.

Still laughing at the folks that swore he'd bounce back after leaving here. Deron will be a top ballot Hall of Shame member. Right up there with Bargnani.

After initial reports that Deron Williams was shocked and upset about being traded to the New Jersey Nets, it's beginning to sound like the star point guard is warming to the idea of staying with the organization long-term.

Williams made it clear that he's ready and willing to help the Nets recruit another superstar (maybe Dwight Howard?) to join him in leading the team to Brooklyn. Williams says he understands that it will take another equally-skilled player or two to compete with the likes of New York, Boston, and Miami, and he's willing to do what he can to help the Nets get one.

So, let's put it all into perspective...Deron has played playoff basketball with Pierce, KG, LeBron, Irving, Love, Joe Johnson ever since and has registered multiple scoreless performances with both teams six years later.

Deron Williams is the biggest waste of talent in NBA history.

He used to be a top 5 player. Now he is legitimately the worst player on the court.

What a joke.
