Yeah, doesn't sound like good news based on what I'm reading. Hopefully they all hug it out next week. Dude is **** nuts, but he's been amazing this year.

The one upside for me is seeing which low-level soccer country inevitably humbles England in the group stage.

that was one of the best sports events that I've ever seen and thus one of the best decisions I've made in my life as this was, perhaps, the third Champions League game I've seen this season.

Guess who is dominating again? Pulisic with another assist, Dempsey with the goal. We've finally found a superstar to build a team around. If USA soccer screws this up over the next 10 years... ARGH!!!!

I think we have a good core group, need a few more higher level players though ,mainly in the defensive backs positions.

wanna hear something about Latvia? we're slated to host the European Champions Portugal in a couple of months in the Euro qualifiers. ticket packs of three games have been sold for quite some time with Ronaldo and Portugal as the main lure to attract people to games against the lesser teams as well. yet Riga's main (and pretty much the only usable one, for all intents and purposes) stadium is meanwhile being stripped of all of its movable assets in a legal conflict. all of the spotlights, chairs, goal nets, you name it. nothing that the football federation can do about it (who are to be blamed for this in the first place)

we literally don't have a place to play an international soccer game. chances are it will take part in a neighbor country. just a **** disgrace. this May it will be 27 years that we've been free of the Soviet Union, yet we're almost right where we started in regards to sports infrastructure.

that's Latvia to you in a nutshell. seemingly a decent country to live in, a part of the European Union, however, there's always some moronic decisions made by the government, a form of corruption or some public failure which makes you wonder what the hell is going on in this country.

Chicharito is rumored to be going to LAFC this summer.

Would be a huge signing.

Fairly certain we won't win the league next year. Not playing in Champions League this year was huge, since it allowed us to start our top 11 each week. We basically only used 13 players this year - Courtois; Apzi, Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Hazard & Costa + Willian and Fabregas as top two subs. Next year we'll be gunning for Champions League. I suspect one of the Manchester teams will win the league next season. Sounds like Man United are prepared to spend another 200 mil in transfers again this summer.

Who is your team in the EPL?

Don't have a team. Much less stressful that way .

Juventus or Real, who you got today? I'm rooting for Juve, but just assume Real will win.

Would prefer juventus.

Ronaldo will probably score 2 goals and Madrid will win 2-1.
