The most perfect deflection changed the game. Real deserved it but not this much

12 times... 3 in 4 years. Realizing your team will never win it...sad

their youth players and guys that didn't even make the squad fit are better than nearly everyone at my club

what a team. Congrats RM fans

I think teams inc juve failed to realize just how good that real madrid midfield is. The likes of kroos, modric and isco together are unplayable. You can't lineup with khedira, pjanic and dybala and expect to stifle them. Not only were they outnumbered in the middle, the ones outnumbering them were quality individuals. Khedira is no footballer, once upon a time he offered some value with his running but not anymore. He can't move his body. Dybala is not a midfielder whilst pjanic who has made strides with his tactically sense this season, just had first hand experience playing against the level he wishes to one day reach, and that is modric. Allegri followed the tactics conte left behind to a t and he got the team where he got them but this real team is on another level. I know it is easier said than done and i'm not saying the result would've been any different but he needed to try a different system such as a 4-3-2-1 to try win back the midfield and play marchisio and lemina from the start. I remember a few seasons back, the galatasaray coach played a midfield rombo to try to disrupt modric and co. They still lost but there were successful for large periods. Who knows, maybe you are only as good as your players. Zidane has the best players, which is why he waited for his opportunity at real as opposed to starting elsewhere.

The only thing more difficult than being a Real supporter must be to be an Atletico supporter.
