Please anyone who wants Fox -- Listen to this. Facts are facts.

And one other thing: People act as if Fox developing a consistent jump shot is a guarantee. I don't know why people jump to that conclusion.

There's plenty more examples of players coming into the NBA as an awful jump shooter and staying an awful jump shooter than miraculously improving their shot. His shooting numbers are awful across the board.

Honestly I wouldn't put any energy into any prospect not named lonzo ball. Unless he absolutely flops in the workout he'll be our pick. What I found fascinating was lonzo's off ball analytics

Just don't pick Monk.

Thats fair...although I think he will go higher. The analytic crowd hates the guy but yet he will go top 10 for sure.

Fox on the Suns would be nice. Fox could break down the defense and kick to Booker.

I find it amazing that's there's zero talk on fultz the number one draft pick. Has this ever happened before? And it's not like it's even a question if he's going number one.

It is pretty crazy, but I think it's because the NBA wants Lonzo in LA. I just hope the Celtics don't F it up.

Do you think there would be more talk on him if there was a Lavar Fultz?

Interesting article today on the internet - says the Lakers might not draft Lonzo Ball - They are concerned he isn't the real deal and they are concerned about the antics of Lavar - The irony is all of his antics was to jockey him to position to be taken by the Lakers

Every single interview I've heard from Magic and Luke (and I've heard them all) totally goes against anything these articles say about Ball and Lakers. I'd rather trust what I'm hearing straight from the people who make the decision rather than "sources". Especially Magic, he just can't hide the fact how much he loves Ball. He's basically said everything except that Ball is a lock. Even Luke was gushing over him on the radio a few days ago.

I would say we are drafting Ball unless something drastic happens in the next 2 weeks,

This is a bit much. Here's where he's slated on various sites:

Draftexpress 5th
Draftnet: 4th
Bleacher Report: 4th

Where would you take him?

If I was doing a big board that had nothing to do with team needs:

Fultz
Ball
Tatum
Jackson
Isaac
Monk
Smith
Markkanen
Fox

And that's based strictly on "potential" alone. The negatives and numbers on Fox are so putrid, some of the worst I've ever seen for such a potential top pick. There's three things that stand out to me about him: His overall mentality and makeup as a person/player (things like competitiveness, work ethic, desire, etc), his creativity around the basket and his speed. Outside of that, I just don't know what else he brings. He's 170 lbs, he turns down wide open looks, he doesn't have great PG instincts, and so far in league history there's no example of a player who's shot the ball in college that bad that went on to become good NBA shooters.

And when you combine that with his fit on this team, and it's just a complete no brainer why you wouldn't take him. You can not start a lineup with Fox, Randle, Ingram, and Mozgov in it. The NBA is all about spacing, shooting, attacking closeouts, multiple passes. And usually those multiple passes end up with a dunk/open three.

Fultz at 4? Most scouts have him not only as the best player in the draft, but in a tier above everyone else. Curious what your reasoning is.
