the thing is, if there are 2 players of exactly the same value, an American out of the NCAA and a Euro out of Europe, chances are that the Euro will be picked about 10 spots lower because of less visibility and comparable stats . That's where the value is IMO, especially with Euros who haven't done massive pre-draft campaigns (like KP did).

The Americans tend to go closer to where they deserve (at least at the time of the draft) simply because people know them better.

Ike could be a steal and has a high ceiling so I'll always support a pick like that.

That is literally my dream draft.

Kennard flying up to 11 is insane, he must have shot the absolute lights out in his workouts.

Kennard at #11 is such a Hornets pick. No way would I ever take him that high.

God I wish we had extra assets to trade up for Collins.

I don't feel comfortable with Anigbogu ... There are many Biyombo's in this draft ... trade down for Bell/Adebayo + something
Prefer Hartenstein or even Jeanne. Don't like is BB IQ. Turnover prone, Foul trouble prone, 53.5%FT, zero mid range game.
On skills level he is a volleyball player. Blocks/dunks/putbacks.

He really needs a good point guard to set him up, like Lonzo Ball.
He is a 6'9 DeAndre and we don't have cp3 or Lonzo to play him to his strengths, and don't know how effective he can be.

I take the mini CP3 over the mini DeAndre
(but it would be fun to take em both, Jawun Evans + Ike)

Hartenstein/Ojeleye all day

I thought we need to add talent, and Ike provides the minimum. He is all muscle and athleticism and he is productive when a PG sets him up.

My God Hammond will make Magic our nightmare ...

I have this weird feeling about Jordan Bell not lasting very long in this league. I could be completely wrong, he may be the next Draymond, just don't think it's going to happen.

Thoughts on Damyean Dotson? Seems like he could be another Brogdon-like guy.

IMO he is definitely talented enough to make an NBA roster, but I don't think he'll be drafted after he and 2 of his former Oregon *ucks decided to (allegedly) rape a girl.

If we're looking for another Brogdon type pick in the 2nd (and why the hell wouldn't you!)....

I think Josh Hart is the guy. I've been reading up more on him and his accolades and off court resume sound a lot like Brogdon.

On the court as a senior:
- 1st Team All-American
- Big East POY
- Big East DPOY

He also went to one of the most prestigious prep schools in the country (Sidwell Friends) and was even a frickin Eagle scout. Great BBIQ and work ethic. Sounds quite similar to Brogdon. Very high character and an extremely successful college basketball career.

I'm thinking he has an excellent chance of being a good 3 & D player and I'm leaning towards either trading back the #17 for an extra pick or trading up from #48 to nab him. (IMO he also makes Snell expendable saving the Bucks around 10 million/year)

Hart
Brown
Iwundu
Thornwell

All great candidates for older immediate impact 'Brogdon' picks. Dotson screamed immediate contributor to me based solely on his play, but yeah f*ck him.

I believe Hart will be picked from 26-40 ... In my mock draft I have him going 1st round picked by the Spurs ... to replace Manu.

FIFY. After they trade him to free up room for Paul.

5 centers (+ Leaf) available as best player available in the Draft Express mock at our pick. We may get our pick of the big men. It would make sense to work them all out against each other.

I absolutely LOVE this thought process. The one thing this team is missing is toughness...and, in my opinion, Bell and Bam are the two guys who could bring that.

Would be my dream scenario to trade down and get those two...with Frank Mason falling to the Bucks in the 2nd round.
